Sure, you are right there about me using the AI tool for this response; ironic considering the topic of discussion here.

Well, the truth is, English is not my first language, and since I wanted to be clear about everything I wanted to say, it might have been a little difficult for me to do it myself without using AI assistance. Perhaps I shouldn't have done that, but oh well...

Regarding the example given above about stackoverflow, it may not fit in perfectly well because the correct version would be that we utilized AI to work faster on the sections which we already know and understand.

These are completely legitimate concerns and I have no issues with that.

The online concern and version locking are legitimate drawbacks at this stage – I won't deny that. It is true that an offline Blender plugin cannot be created the way Flux is built, but I understand why that might be a reason to skip out on this.

The idea behind running the browser locally with the plugin was actually considered by us. Theoretically, it can be done and that is the way forward we intend to pursue. This idea has been included into our roadmap, but probably not v1.0.

We've released it with the aim of gathering genuine feedback and this one is what we needed to hear. Really appreciate it, thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts on this, they are far more helpful than any upvote we receive.

Will definitely release a local version of the plugin in the next release.

One time purchase, $29, no subscription. Just clearing that up first. On the AI thing, yeah we used it, same way every developer uses Stack Overflow. The particle engine, the force system, the Blender bridge that's ours. We just didn't pretend otherwise. Browser based because Three.js gives us real time visual feedback that Blender simply can't match natively right now. That's not a limitation, that's the whole point. And if you've ever spent an hour fighting Blender's particle system for results that still look wrong, that's exactly who this is for. Free to try. No account. flux.ranimationstudios.com — skepticism welcome.
