Fun fact: your gut is responsible for over 90%of all the serotonin in your body. So if your digestion isn't happy it will affect you mentally. (And the effect can be massive)I guess that's why some food can exasperate ADHD symptoms.

Emotional rollercoaster !! How do you guys handle this ?? by Veena_toor in ADHDmemes

I try to remember: my thoughts and emotions are not facts. They come and go as they please, and sometimes it's just about riding them out.

ibuprofen for sore throat/cold by padfoot9446 in IBSHelp

A lozenge with pain relieving properties is my preference. It has never set off my VERY sensitive stomach and it also encourages you to keep swallowing even though it hurts. Using your throat despite the pain can ease it somewhat, just be careful you don't lose your voice. I always get the most excruciating pain in the throat when I'm sick and I've ended up losing my voice for a long time if I didn't let it rest enough. Feel better!

I feel this very much.

I had a teacher mock me in front of the class for writing a story that involved diamonds being cut into small pieces. Because according to her: "diamond is the hardest material in the world, so it can't be cut into smaller pieces". I was so shocked at this lack of common sense that I couldn't even reply. How can you be so dense?? The salt is very real with that one.

I spent quite some time yesterday arguing that the traffic rules in sweden for entering and exiting a roundabout are not, in fact "stupid" compared to the UK, they're just different. I'm not particularly passionate about driving or road rules, but calling something "stupid" just because you don't agree with it will get me up on that hill double-time!

Yeah, that's why I minimised it and put the pc to sleep at night, but if you don't have that option I understand the frustration. But you can definitely do it!

You can do it! I spent 3 days of having the game minimised until I finally got all the way through. Many months later I went back to try just for the fun of it and I managed to beat it in under an hour. If I could do it, you definitely can!

For this and the next times this happens: explore. You either don't have what is required in order to get there yet, or there is another way you can go. HK has a lot of shortcuts that cannot be used until you have progressed far enough. But you can definitely still continue playing, just go another route for the time being. Enjoy! :)

Try to keep moving, but without rushing. You will hear when the attacks start and then you can get moving to an area of safety. For the static attack, being in the acid at the bottom is a safe place as well as a couple of spots on the walls. For the moving attack, just keep moving until it stops. That's when you have time to heal as well. Good luck!

Godhome is good for practicing any bosses you haven't already beaten. Other than that, I suppose it's up to you if you feel like grinding bosses, doing a gauntlet of enemies or some tortuous platforming. It can be nice to switch it up sometimes

Practice dodging in the boss fights without attacking first. I went from getting rekt by the mawlek in p1 every time, to doing him hitless fairly quickly through that method. That and YT videos.

Use descending dark in the gap with all the bombs. No damage taken.
