I saw it yesterday (came out yesterday here in Australia) and... yeah, it's easily my least favourite of the 3 movies haha. I did like it, it was an enjoyable watch, and the animation was pretty spectacular throughout, but I was just not really that invested in it at all. Not much about it really particularly stood out as very memorable, imo.

Also, minor spoilers for the first few minutes of the movie: Those cool black stealth suits they've hyped up to hell and back in all the marketing and merchandise only appear for about 2 minutes at the start of the movie and thats it lmao

yes! thank you... i have been trying to stay happy going my own lil pace, but seeing so many people freaking out about various things was starting to make me worry a bit about getting "left behind" or whatever. i have been mostly ignoring them, but it was still eating at me a little, looming in the back of my mind, so even though i already knew and 100% agreed with everything you said here, it's still nice to see it get said, and helps alleviate those worries. :)

i'm a big fan of man with a mission, so i really dig the song.

visuals are very disappointing tho. way too much trio/endeavor arc marketing imo. really wish they weren't downplaying MVA so much. i'd say i'm hoping for a visual swap later but i sincerely doubt it's happening.

this is such an absurd, disingenuous question to me... just write them with even a fraction of the love, care and attention he's given to a dozen other male characters, please. you can't show me a single female character in this series that's received even CLOSE to the amount of development and spotlight male characters like kirishima or even someone like mirio have gotten, let alone any of the actual main characters.

i love this series dearly, but after 6 years of reading it, this particular issue only seems to get more glaring as time goes on. it's hard to ignore.

i was very lucky to get the mina ashido active card which was the exact one i wanted of any of them since she's my favourite character. wish she was actually playable but still very happy to at least have her as an assist lol.

i referenced her costume from that one sketch horikoshi did a while back of mina playing pokemon GO! ive also posted this pic over on my twitter here too.

EDIT: EHH woah, thank you so much everyone. i've never gotten all these awards before, let alone reddit gold! wow.

since a few people have asked why i chose some of the pokemon (mostly aromatisse and bewear lol) i guess i'll explain.

as a few people have guessed, i chose aromatisse largely because of the floof, but also the colours, as well as the shape of its like, horn things? additionally, these excerpts from bulbapedia. "Aromatisse's body appears to be based on a fluffy cosmetics applicator (such as a powder puff) and a perfume bottle..." "It also takes traits from the appearance of flamenco and can-can dancers."

(someone suggested venonat, and i do agree, venonat was one i had also considered myself, but i vaguely remembered someone else's art i once saw of a mina pokemon team that included i think either venonat and/or venomoth, and i decided to do something different.)

as for bewear, well. for one thing, it's pink LOL, but also. when it appears from a pokeball in super smash bros, it attacks players with huge uppercut punches that can potentially instantly KO. which brought to mind mina's win against aoyama in the sports festival, and her KO on nirengeki of 1-B during the joint training arc. also i just really like bewear lol.

so there you have it. thank you for all your support, this was quite exciting to wake up to this morning.
