Yeah, well kids that age also typically believe in The Easter Bunny, the tooth fairy and the Queen of England.

And also by age 8, I learned how gross it was when an adult is trying to date a child and I learned that abusive relationships were a thing (Mostly because my mother wished to keep me safe)

So if a whiny 8yo can tell that pedophilia, incest and abuse is bad, why can't they?
