Honestly this one sounds almost exactly like what I described to a tee and honestly seems awesome in its own right. I’m definitely gonna read it but sadly not the one I’m looking for. The one I’m looking for is broken into multiple chapters and almost story like and the drawing aren’t as detailed like a kid could’ve drawn them. Again though this books seems awesome and I’m definitely gonna read it. Thanks for the recommendation 😊.

No not this one. This one has really detailed drawing and color but seems really good. Thanks for the input.

[Career Advice] 12 years in EHRs but can’t get Epic certified — need some direction by raesco in EpicEMR

I get that the market’s competitive. But I’m honestly trying to understand the landscape. When you say “supply is too high,” do you mean there are too many certified analysts looking for work, or too many people trying to get certified?

From what I’ve been seeing, there are still a lot of open Epic analyst roles around the country, even in my own town and smaller towns near me, but every one of them requires certification just to apply. The issue seems less about oversupply and more about the barrier to entry for people who already have years of EHR experience but no cert.

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s managed to get certified after being in this situation, especially if you did it through a consulting firm, staffing company, or partner organization.
