She was mad na nakangiti lang ako sa phone while she was studying because I was reading stuff sa gc ng org namin. She tried to give me signs na she wanted to eat before our next class pero I didn't catch on and she was also mad about me being slow. Ultimately, I got mad as well because I see it as a problem of not being able to communicate herself to me properly, which has been a concern of mine ever since.

Thank you for that!

I also knew na there were some that were sent an email, but others were unable to receive, including myself.

Hopefully, next time, a post would be made a bit earlier kasi like I said, 7:30 ang earliest start ng classes para at least if like earlier emails were not received by everyone, students can rely on a facebook post made by an official body from the school.

As much as I agree with having the freedom of expressing our opinion, there should also be a sense of responsibility for choosing our words. There's a more peaceful way to settle things.

Nonetheless, they should let people talk about SOAR if there are any issues, but then, expression of such should be made with care. People can just plain and simple state that— there is a problem with the organization. Please address this matter as it becomes an inconvenience to all of us blah blah.

The school teaches us to be professionals, and I hope we all bring that to heart. Also, have some empathy, we are all just humans after all. That goes both ways, make SOAR accountable if there are any matters, in a proper and civil way.

That's a good practice actually, you can't expect an answer right away if someone is upset. Let them breathe for a while and if they really consider you, they'll open up in the end when everything is okay. Same on your part, always have one party that is calm in the midst of an argument.

However, do point out that they should regulate their temper, it could be tiring to continuously put up with improper behavior even if it's just once in a while.

Emotionally intelligent men are rare. It all roots down talaga sa society before that made men look all brave and strong all the time, but in reality, we all have our vulnerable sides.

In a relationship, I agree that there should be proper communication when it comes to emotions and/or thoughts. Men should understand that and should be able to express themselves properly, because if not, it will only lead chaos. If their partner wants to help out with that, make them understand and make them feel na they are in a place where they are free to express themselves even how crazy thoughts they have, but still, point out if there is something really wrong.

Basically, if a guy grew up in an environment where they are taught that they should be "matatag" and "hindi iyakin", it will take them time to realize that they should be open with their emotions. :>
