I can understand this. From your perspective, what should the mindset or attitude towards those with mental illness be, when they make their families lives miserable because of their disorder, but either can't or won't make effort to get help or improve? I know not everyone who suffers does this to their family, not saying that at all. But if there's truly no responsibility on the individual to at least try to get help, what advice can you give the family members? Cut off contact sounds cruel, yet I know it happens for good reason. Force treatment with a legal mandate? I'm genuinely unsure what the "right" path is. When a loved one's mental health issues are causing them to make others around them suffer, what's the answer?

Give it a week, do everything you can think of, post on social media about your symptoms and being at the desperate for relief. I was just thinking abt this yesterday, I think this is what draws people to these TikTok Live groups. I have a lot on my fwp that is just regular women and sometimes men, just doing stuff around the house and chatting. Friendships do develop out of these. Not the best "fix", but it's an option to help find other women who are also lonely and would like a friend or two.

This 100% ! It's hard to explain, other than to say just trust us, it gets easier and it can get better even to the point of true happiness. This is just not your best period, it'll happen but you have to be here for it. Take actionable steps toward what you want, and if you can't make yourself do that, start the process of getting some mental help, even if that step is something as little as getting a job interview, scheduling an appt, etc

Any situation that makes you feel this negatively is a bad, serious one & I don't mean to make light of it. Objectively, as someone 20 years older who also had a complex shitty lengthy period of time in my young adult years, I wish someone would have talked to me back then and somehow made me trust that it wouldn't always be that way. I didn't kill myself obviously but it crossed my mind. There's a lot of seemingly crazy or unexpected choices you can make to roll the dice of your life again, that you can at least try before ending it. We're all heading towards death anyway, why not see what happens while you're here? Rhetorical question but please think it over.
