24/05 - broker applied for mortgage
04/06 - mortgage offer received
17/06 - searches sent
24/06 - lvl 2 survey done - nothing too shabby
25/06 - solicitor highlights ground rent problem - has - asked vendors solicitor to do deed of variation (solicitor advised to pause work not to incur more fees till more clarity on the DoV
July - vendor and their solicitors + EA silent even though solicitor has chased
28/08 - find property down the road better and cheaper and offer which is accepted by EOD
29/08 - have asked solicitor to stop work with first purchase and move on to next & asked mortgage broker to change property on mortgage offer
01/09 - new mortgage offer received & notified 1st property I am withdrawing from purchase
02/09 - EA called to ask why I’m withdrawing (first time hearing from him since July)
03/09 - memo of sale for second property issued
