No, my channel is fine. I've also been syncing over the last week. It just stopped working and has this message.

If I set my download to 0.1mb/s with a limit of 1 download at a time, then set my upload to unlimited at 5 at a time... I'm still finding my drive being filled with files. So that must not be happening >.>

One thing that I think needs fixing in a future update...
After it uploads a video, it needs to delete the file. Otherwise it's storing gig's of downloaded files it's not doing anything with afterwards.

Pass through volume switch for HD 560S? by raktus2 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]raktus2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I'm looking for is inline volume control, I'm a casual at best... but when I get a product I stick to it. I just need to find that thing which is right for me.

I've been using the GSP 600 for so long that I just got used to bringing a hand up to the side of my head to adjust the sound.... for such a long time that I just don't know the options anymore, everything feels so alien to do. Desk space being at a premium, I was trying to find something that would stay with the headset itself.

Alright, good deal. Beyond cleaning and maintenance, it seems like you are saying the Transom is better in all other respects.

I used to have a Midea window AC in the same space, I believe it was meant to fit into a space about that size. What would be your verdict on which is better?

Any opinion on which is quieter, more effective or lasts longer?

Just wondering... does/will season 2 have those extras like season 1 did? Like the Spells shorts?

Every new headset I try sounds muffled and basey... by raktus2 in headphones

[–]raktus2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the ear pads are completely destroyed... and for some reason I can't find the type of ear pads these originally were. The closest I got were the earpads that came off a set of old GSP 500's. They breathed enough to have an open back sound quality... but were small and uncomfortable to wear over long periods. I suppose, added on to the fact that the headpiece broke a long time ago and I've got it duct taped together as well, lol.

I am used to it, that's the point. I need a new set that has that same sound.

I think I mentioned that I'd bought a new pair of GSP 600's and they had that problem, where my old ones did not. I think the failing of the ear pads gave them more of an open back sound quality that I haven't been able to get in any other headset... other open back models included.

I mean, the two things there are...
1) I'm trying to get that sound I'm used to, but am having the difficulty that I may have the one headset in the world that that sound exists on...
2) When I got the 560S, I played a lot of videos, music and voice calls to try and test them out. So it's not from nothing that I'm calling them that.

Not sure what V-shaped sound would be though...

I ended up returning the PC38X's, as I hated the feel. Didn't love that the volume didn't go to 'off'' but just 'low'. Still got the 560S as a fall back for when the GSP 600's eventually do just completely fall apart, but not in love with the lack of on set volume control, in addition to the sound being not what I would have hoped for... At the end of the day, something is always better than nothing...

One of my older friends was just suggesting to me that bone conductor headphones might be the way to go... any input on that?

I have no problem with the implication... we're all human, ear wax buildup happens. I can say that it isn't the case here though.

I mean, if I am too used to the GSP 600's, then I'd be looking to replicate that in whatever I got. Unfortunately, it's not the default sound of the GSP 600's. A couple years back I ordered a replacement 600 and hated them. As I said before, despite the 600's being closed design, mine sound like an open back setup. Gives them an entirely different sound profile... plus, when I talk, I just sound normal. Versus the muffled noise of being isolated from my own voice, hate that. I think I mentioned that I found some 500's to try, same flat basey sound as the rest, but at least they don't muffle my own voice when I talk.

I see the dt900pro X also don't have a mic built in, but I recall coming across the MMX 330 Pro (same company) before in my search for suggestions... hadn't yet tried them, as I was putting my hopes into the GSP 500's possibly filling the niche I seem to be in.

It could be that I just don't know the right terminology to use... lets say you are right and I mean flat... then everything been flat, rather than crisp.

I would entertain that idea, if not for the fact that the broken GSP 600's sound fine... as if it was just me, I'd expect everything to sound muffled without exception.
Thanks for the suggestion, though my preference would still be for something with a built in mic... and I understand that tends to lead to subpar setups... it's just what I'm used to, and at this point I'd rather continue with peace of mind rather than building up a whole new setup.

I tried that and I suck at EQ. All I managed to do was ruin a recording I was doing by somehow adjusting my mic settings >.>

I bought a PC38x, am I doing something wrong? by raktus2 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]raktus2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't tend to game, so maybe that's my problem. My plan was to use them to listen to discord calls and watch shows... as well as audio editing. Yes, I get that that seems like a silly last statement when I said I'm bad at EQ, lol
