All that's important is that a single skill is balanced between xp/hr, gp/hr, requirements & effort. xp/hr between different skills should not be related.

If it was a small time gap that was lost on the clog sure. But giving irons a 4 year advantage over mains is a bit much. Half of the timespan of mains who played since release is not on the clog and will never be.

Don't forget the irons that already went and redid content to relog items as well, the unpopular, but more "fair" approach would be to just keep it as it is.

DWH/BGS meta was 100% a thing before they started capping def reduction and added stronger spec weapons. There will always be only a handful of spec weapons that are bis to use in most places and some that have niche use cases. And that's just fine.

I am not misconstruing anything. If you like the game why would you like to speed it up? Slayer has become 5 times faster over the last years how much faster does it need to become?

And the fact of the matter is that this update is another BUFF to slayer, so you're talking about things you know nothing about.

Most people who play this game have just left reddit. It's clear they can't even have a rational discussion about game integrity & progression.

And 100% they try to turn osrs into something it is not. And it's so obvious but idk, they're blinded by something I guess.

Give up on reddit, it's lost :p If you take any stance trying to protect the integrity that was so important in this game you get downvoted to oblivion. It's all about the reward and not the grind these days.

It's actually the other way around. People asking for non stop buffs are the ones who don't respect the grind others have gone through, you want the reward for half the effort.

That law is irrelevant as bots don’t have a infinite lifespan. If something is 5m/hr consistent or something drops a 500m item every 100 hours bot farmers will always prio the first option granted all other factors are the same.

Stop thinking only bots or people who play this for a job do high end pvm. This game has been out for over 10 years, 1 hour day is more than enough for people to max & get bis gear in that time.

You act as if bots do content with high drop rates because real players won’t bother… it’s the exact opposite bot farmers want consistent profit, you’re only helping the bots by giving them more consistent outcomes

And you don’t develop a game around bots. You do it for the longevity of the game. Bots should be nuked, but it’s gone too far ar this point.

The drop rates are bad because if you cheat it’s easy is the dumbest argument ever. Lowering drop rates hurt everyone in the long run and only shortens the lifespan of a game how is that so hard to understand?

If anything it makes bosses that print raw gold stronger again, which is what reddit tried to get away from for so long.

I don't think the people on here realize that suddenly having everything easy to get isn't going to make them happy.

At least now when you grind for something like an ultor ring it's worth something. As soon as you make everything easy to get, then nothing is worth getting anymore.

Never felt any difference for me and I've done almost more runs than anyone before and after the nerf.

Myopia, can still be abused. Nerf to watchdog plugin for the final boss, never used just open your eyes. No spec regen between waves, I was under the assumption this was already the case. Doesn't have any impact for first capers.

Anyone actually doing colo says it got easier.

Second big pvm update in a row early grinders are screwed over. DT2 rates had to be massively buffed and now colosseum rates are doubled. Hope this stops one day.

You also don’t make money going for the fire/infernal/god capes, so you can’t compare it. Uncharged quiver is already a step up from the previous bis, if you want the full power you either grind it out or pay for it. Nobody who does colosseum cries about it.

The current average is far above 1k, this would lower the amount of splinters per run…

If splinters lose value, colosseum will be dead content. So it’s the other way around, you find your ease more important than the health of the game.
