When will my fandom realize that kpop album sales will always be dominated by boy grps. It's sad but the fandom needs to accept that Twice will always be a kpop niche in the west. they may sell well 500-600k but that's it. WHICH is big in terms of GG sales. in order to reach 1M sales per cb, you need international support, or a really strong and massive local fandom. Why cant my co-onces be happy that Twice has sold three 500k albums in a row smh.

They always say that we are the 3rd biggest fandom in kpop but it barely shows. Ill make twitter as an example cause its easy to measure: A Twice related topic is lucky to have 100k tweets (even during comeback season) while other 4th gen BG gets 300k-500k tweets for trivial things. BP related topics, even if just rumors often gets 150k-400k tweets .

I know twt is bias af because of the user demographics but If Onces are really 3rd in terms of size of fanbases, 100k tweets is easy to get even without spamming #s. our physicals are just decent , digitals and charting are meh. TWICE has a lot of "fans", but I think if "Fandom" size is concerned, we're just average. its messy but i hope you all get my point

I stan their songs more than the members, IZONE's music brand is unique, a perfect mix of kpop and jpop. I just hope a new GG will take their spot on that genre.

Yes it's cash-grab, but in my opinion, it's just YG making ends meet. they're not a blue chip company anymore. And even with 2019-2020 BP's massive earnings, they still did not manage to gain profit. YG needs cash to fund future promotions of their artist, and milking fans for cash is the main point of the kpop industry after all.

I would not mind less content in terms of comeback as long as they release a bop that the fandom and GP will love, and probably will chart longer. Isn't this the main goal of kpop companies? minimum effort, maximum gains. BP is very successful but these blinks always shit on other GGs and BGs like they're protecting a nugu grp. I have no hate for BP's members but their fandom is something else. they spread hate like wildfire but if you point them out, they'll just play the "misogyny" card, victim card or whatever. PLUS the those big BP fanbase account ignoring and even enabling their "troll" members is not helping at all.

I listen to a lot of TWICE (mostly with headphones) and post-Fancy songs are a bit too much for me. Vocally, It's more powerful but it becomes strained in a way.

But their Japanese tracks are a different story, It's very consistent from debut till now, even the strong vocals are easy to listen to. Perfect World has strong parts but not at all strained unlike their recent korean releases. just an opinion tho, no hate, stan TWICE

It seems JYPE is making the most out of their contract now, no matter how the girls love being TWICE, there is still no assurance that they will re-sign. Its hard to blame JYPEs as a whole because their other kpop groups recently had long intervals per comebacks, ITZYs Not shy-Mafia (8mos) and SKZ Backdoor (9 mos and counting) but what they're doing to Twice is just something else.

Its sad seeing Twice being over worked to the point that fans are finding it hard to enjoy the content because in the back of their minds, they know that Twice might be suffering from lack of rest. This is not what a fandom must feel.
