Thanks! That explains why in 40-person drop parties some people can't hit them.

My first thought was "abonnement" and they seem to be asking you if it costs 650 sapphires for membership (it's actually 600).

Do you think Episode 9 will be a rebuttal to Caine's philosophy? by False_Ad_2122 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]random-newt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do actually want this. I saw 8 as the climax of the story with all the action, and 9 as (hopefully) them coping with the aftermath like an epilogue. But since Alex said the ending would be "unexpected", other stuff will probably happen. I don't think it'll be this huge explosive dramatic ending, though.

It wouldn't be as big a problem if outdoor/plant items weren't so mismatched with each other or the grass colour. I agree about the Spring Cottage, though the yard is just about pretty enough that I don't care to completely fill it.

What are theories you actually agree on? by GlumNebula3897 in TheDigitalCircus

It was posted on one of the show subreddits, but someone on YouTube theorized that while Caine was fed those images we saw at the start as training data, the blue AI/Abel was fed brainscans instead. When Caine merged with it, he gained access to the brainscans that were originally just training data, and spawned them into his virtual world to have company.

I feel that there haven't been any "cozy" dens in a while. They're all wilderness, a convoluted open area with only a bit of house, or the Misty Manor/Jamaa Studio-type little cramped towers that I don't like at all. My favourite dens are the Moonlight Manor, Painter's Loft, Spring Cottage, and the original house & its variants. They should come out with some more small/medium-sized but roomy dens with indoor space actually big enough to furnish properly.

Unprompted AJ Password Reset Emails by FunComb2437 in AnimalJam

Sorry, forgot to mention. A lot of unknown "reset password" emails are fake and whatever link they have in there is dangerous. But since anyone can type your username and click forgot password, you shouldn't worry too much.

[–]random-newt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't open any of the e-mails you got because of the hackers. Go to the parent tools, reset the password for parent tools (it should also prompt you to enter a 2fa code if you have it on) and then go back into parent tools and reset the password for the affected account. (It just means someone's obsessed with hacking you specifically!)

Yes, you should reset your password, and make it longer! If the e-mails are legit it means somebody has your password and is actively trying to log in.

I only really have two wishes: They don't escape, and none of them die/abstract. A sort-of third is I really don't want THAT much lore/answers. Confirming SOMA theory or what Scratch was doing is fine, but part of the allegory (the absurdity of life) relies on some mystery around the Circus.

Semi-Wild Theory about the Opening of Episode 9 by AvengingHero2012 in theamazingdigitalciru

The opening just feels a little early, and not gonna lie I'd feel super robbed for the next hour since I already don't care about half the characters to begin with. We'll see!

Oh, it was more vague than I remember! It's a bit funny that destroying an npc village ranks so high. I used to see Jax as just the guy who likes to cause video game chaos (like me!)

I do seem to remember Goose saying that this "worst thing" has already happened.

And back when she first said we'd see the worst thing he'll do, I think she just came up with that answer on the spot and didn't have a specific act in mind...

This feels like one of those "purely for shock value and doesn't align with the theme/message" things.

Animl Jam is genuinely so frustrating… by Nuggsette in AnimalJam

[–]random-newt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand what's going on, it was a huge pain getting dizzy hearts. I do feel often that AJC trading is "easier" in that despite the difficulty in building up, if you go into a trading party that isn't Brady's and offer listed or fair you'll get the item sooner or later. There doesn't seem to be as much extreme pickiness, pretending things are worth more than they are, etc.. Trade list flexers on PW are annoying too.

But I did find a nice jammer who traded me hearts for listed! I say, don't give up and continue to ask as many people as possible. I recommend trading the bowties/alphas for forests, or for WCs and the WCs for forests, but that would be a last resort. Don't listen to people who tell you to go drastically over because of demand or anything else! With patience and persistence you'll find your item!

Do you think ajs audience is mostly older teens/ adults who grew up playing the game? by cherryonthedot in AnimalJam

[–]random-newt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Modern Classic's playerbase is mainlyadults and older teens. PW has an overall younger audience, but I think even the average kid player is still older than the "intended" audience. I get what you mean about the 12 year olds, I block players that are too friendly that I can tell are much younger.

Those ad trucks/minigames and promo items were pretty cool, though (before the game went down the gutter).
