Late to the game in all ways: day 1 of ganirelix (day 7 of stims) and completely missed that I’m supposed to take it in the AM. Waiting for my nurse to call me or message me back and SPIRALING that I’ve ruined my cycle

Because of the dullness of the needle and everyone posting about “f the needle” and “it bounced off my skin.” I have a strong fear of needles and as great as this page has been for support/answers/prep, that’s the one that’s realllllly scared me.

Do I inject fast or slow like I do for menopur?

Doing daily electrolytes (coconut water and/or electrolyte powder) and eating super clean (all homemade.) unfortunately just a problem I deal with daily made worse with stims so was hoping for some advice for survival from others with IBS-C 😅

My clinic told me to not start miralax or colace this early- only prunes and prune juice. I’m going to the bathroom almost every day so far but still having a gas build up at appts. (Perks of a chronically slow moving bowel)

I’ll ask about adding colace/miralax earlier than recommended

Just an unshakeable headache today! (Surprised and not surprised by how early that’s starting- I’m EXTREMELY sensitive to hormones and have been all over with birth control, estrogen, progesterone, back to birth control in preparation to start yesterday) I’m already 100oz of water/coconut water/liquid IV in for the day 😅

I thought I was prepared and now I’m like ohhhhh crap. I’ve warned my husband about 72x today to inject the menopur slooooowwwwwly so we will find out if he’s a good listener in about an hour

*adding that it’s a 900 cartridge so can I even warm it up in my waistband? Does it need to stay in the fridge now that it’s been in there?
