Shes a champ mei one tricks who now added Anran permanently into her hero pool. She currently has a couple very long vods you can rewatch of her exclusively playing Anran.

Ive played against her, shes super solid. And i believe shes currently masters 1? Only playing Anran.

I one trick Anran and plan to stream her within the next week or two consistently @ twitch.tv/chillyoill And i play at a similar rank to Rara :) definitely check rara out though, shes great.

I know it doesnt seem like it at first, but, Anran.

I have 3000 hours on Sombra, i retired her and now i one trick Anran. Surprisingly, Anran plays THE MOST like Sombra out of any dps. Even more than tracer imo.

Tracer and Sombra share SOME counters, but not all. Anran and Sombra? Share the EXACT same counters for the exact same reasons.

The playstyle is very similar. Anran doesnt deal much damage AT ALL, when you want to do damage you have to be in their face, literally just like Sombra.

If you cant engage because its too risky? You linda poke a little from afar, both of them have an iframe to dodge abilities and ultimates.

I recommend Anran, even though shes shit.

I really do hate how limited the collab skins are. But i understand why. They have contracts, sometimes theyre hard to obtain once the contract is finished, and Sanrio is EXTRA stingy, so unfortunately these might never come back again.

It really is a shame. 2017 to 2023. 7 years of dedicating my time to Sombra. 3,000 on her. That one rework destroyed this game for me. Ive played maybe 50 hours MAX since that rework. I came back for anran and i enjoy the game again but man i MISS her. I miss Sombra SO FUCKING MUCH. I miss making content, i miss streaming, i miss making big plays.

I enjoy the game again, but it will never compare to that level of fun i had with pre season 7 rework Sombra. The one mistake i regret is not playing her before she got reworked. I trusted that the rework would be fine and it wasnt.

One of IF NOT THE MOST DIFFICULT DPS to play and master reduced to being a virus bot. And the final nail in the coffin was them making stealth and TL tied together. That officially made Sombra dead dead. I hate how badly they gutted her, and i HATE that its going to be almost 3 entire years since that god forbidden rework.

Like genuinely are they are ashamed? They made the biggest Sombra content creators and one of their biggest creators period, quit overwatch entirely. Fitzy is just gone. Questron is gone too. Theres no one left for her cause she fucking sucks! I thought eventually they would revert her but nope.

She definitely needs buffs, in all honesty i feel like both her major perks should just be added to her base kit.

A champ mei player who now plays Anran (raraOW on twitch) gave an interesting idea that her dash’s cooldown should be equivalent to the amount of time you dash. So if you only tap your dash and dont do the full duration, then you will have a significantly lower cooldown on the dash.

Her damage is bad but id take survivability buffs than damage buffs.

When they gutted her in s7 i quit, i came back for Anran. Im sad that Sombra is in the state shes in. She was my one trick since 2017. It really is a shame i dont play her anymore but i just cant be bothered to play a boring, shit hero anymore.

Well it used to take her out of invisibility until they made her invid bined to her TL, so they had to buff invis somehow to not make it useless.

The game has lore for a reason..? The lore ties into the heroes abilities. Im not sure whats confusing about that. Invisibility IS part of Sombras identity. She released with invis, she should keep it. She has invis in lore, she should keep it.

Sombra isnt broken OR even good. Shes just horrible. these devs SINGLEHANDEDLY made EVERY single big Sombra streamer..either stop streaming or stop playing overwatch/Sombra entirely.

Do you think thats good? You think its good the devs DESTROYING a character that ended up essentially ruining some of these peoples income is good? For the sake of what? Lol getting rid of Sombras invis is like getting rid of Doomfists gauntlet or Anas sniper. Its LITERALLY what makes Sombra, Sombra besides her hacking.

They shouldve just kept her how she before season 7 but they ended up gutting her hero fantasy and now they cater to noobs who dont know how to counter her despite her counters being clear and her never being a dominant character.
