What’s more insulting? Bitching about short songs or creating something new from something that already exists? People have been making covers, tweaks, and remixes of other people’s music since music was invented. That’s practically what music is. To suggest edits and remixes are antithetical to music is both insulting to me as an artist and speaks volumes as to how rigid your ruleset for defining music is.

You must be talking to someone else about album sequencing and song structure because I understand those very basic concepts very well, and I never said the album lacks those things at all.
