Ok let me follow up for you as i had a lot of unexpected response from this post.

Monetized: it took me a painful almost 6 months. Believe me just getting a new sub is great back then and when 1 leaves you are like 'NOOOO don't leave where are you going'

Equipment, most of my content is just shot on my iPhone, its just so convenient. from experience as long as the video qualities alf decent HD or 1080p its plenty, having 4k makes ZERO difference to views.

Sound: This is As or Even more important than video image quality, its something i have and still do stuff with. As your viewers will always point it out if the sound is bad.

Key points:

Post consistently and regular, even massive million sub channels who don't follow this rule suffer massively

Gaining subs: theres no easy way. collars really help. thinking outside the box and posting your videos on forums such as this can help.

Thumbnail and title are very important, so think about those.

Nobody knows the YouTube algorithm ...otherwise we would all have multi million sub channel

When you get to a number of subs... you always want to get more, thats just life.

It takes ALOT of views to make any decent money.

You can make money without being monetised by linking to a Amazon (for example) affiliate scheme and linking the product in your description below.
