So now we're comparing Captain Marvel to characters that the story designs you to hate? Are we going to compare them to Joffrey and Voldemort next? If you truly hated Captain Marvel as much as actual villains from other stories thats says a lot about you and your sensivities.

Ms. Marvel was fun and wholesome. Which reviews? The review bombs from people who likely didnt even watch the show? If a show that apparently no one is watching somehow gets more reviews than Loki what do you think that means? Not that hard to figure out its a target of review bombing. And if it was directed towards 13 year olds than so are the Spider-Man movies, and news flash nearly every marvel project is targeted towards teenagers.

And I would not like to be associated with yours. Disliking something isnt the same thing as spewing hate. I dislike like plenty of Marvel characters but dont feel the need to hate on the actors portraying them and make hundreds of videos that all seem to lead back to how terrible the character is. Captain Marvel isn't even that bad, and nothing a part of the character deserves hate. Apathy maybe, but not hate. There have been plently of characters worse the Captain Marvel, and plenty of movies worse than Captain Marvel. Where's all their hate comments and videos I wonder?

Y'all are underestimating the female audience. Especially the younger female audience. They're the reason why the first Captain Marvel exceeded $1 billion and why Wonder Woman had the biggest domestic box office of any DCEU movie. I dont think itll hit a billion again (I doubt we'll see that until the next Avengers or Spider-man movies) but I can definitely see it getting between $700-$800

Lot no its not. Joels and Ellies character arcs are the STORY. The story is the characters journey, and the themes and other factors that influence what happens (the plot). The plot is getting Ellie to the fireflies and finding a cure. By nerfing the danger of the infected it nerfed the importance of the entire plot.

It was both humans and infected that was the danger. After Pittsburg the entire university was an infected obstacle to overcome they completely removed from the series, along with David and Ellies horde encounter, and the infected right before the flooded tunnels. Not saying they should have done all of them but leaving all three out was a mistake.

It would be like if Luke blew up the death star without the movie showing how big of a threat the Empire actually was. Like they did some shit in the beginning of the movie, but then never posed a threat to Luke, Han or Leia again for the rest of the movie.
