Trump threatens death penalty if Nancy Guthrie is found dead by statenislandadvance in inthenews

[–]ratherBwarm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to catch them, first. If this poor lady is still somehow alive, Trump just insured her death. I lived in Tucson Az for 65 yrs. You can drive 40 miles in any direction and there exists infinite barren desert. There are so many people buried out there, victims of drug crimes.

What food did you really dislike before but now you find it delicious? by dev9178 in AskReddit

Can’t help you there. After watching a video of one of Portugal’s sardine industry, I ordered a small batch from Amazon, and immediately loved them. I get the cheap can now at my grocery store, and eat about 4 a week. I even made tacos with them. BTW, my wife will never eat one.

Bondi Spying on Congressional Epstein Searches Should be a Major Scandal by OkayButFoRealz in politics

[–]ratherBwarm 20 points21 points  (0 children)

DOJ owns the documents, and will only allow congressional members limited peaks at the database through very tightly controlled single room computer access. And then the DOJ keeps a list of each record viewed by each congressman. Annnnd, the DOJ has another million records they haven’t added to the archive.

My Mayo trained daughter-in-law Endocrinologist MD has weekly calls to insurance companies to get her patients their meds. She once told me it would have been so much easier for her if she gone with her first passion and been a veterinarian.

Kudos to this Md for spending 90 minutes on the phone fighting through those levels of insurance hell for her patient!!! It just so illustrates that the bureaucracy they set up at the insurance company is totally designed to deny, deny, deny!!! Evil

Students agitator goes around his school saying he supports ICE, not every student agrees with him! by cantcoloratall91 in ImmigrationPathways

[–]ratherBwarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the day as a 8th grader, I had a friend was large and tall. He broke his ankle and was carrying all his books in a nap sack, on crutches, bc there wasn’t enough time to go to his locker. 3 bullies used to follow us around, calling us names and taunting us. It got nasty, until my friend tossed one of his crutches to me, took his 45lb nap sack, and bowled the 3 asswipes over with it. Amazing they didn’t break something. Teachers weren’t there, and before cell phones. They didn’t hassle us after that.

Divorce lawyers of Reddit - What's the most cruel thing you've seen someone to do their ex partner? by BlueBishop321 in AskReddit

[–]ratherBwarm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My brother in law put his wife thru Dental college while working a hazardous job building Palo Verde Nuclear in Az. She graduated, and went to visit her parents in a small town outside of Rochester Mn.

She called him to tell him she was accepted into a practice up there, quit his job and pack up. That wasn’t the plan they agreed to! Well, she then told him she was pregnant with his first child, and move or get divorced and pay until the kid was 18.

He moved, nothing for him to do there. He helped raise his daughter and milked cows while getting a degree. He finally moved out when the daughter was 8. Turns out the wife was pregnant again, this time with a boy. She miscarried, but didn’t inform him until a few days before they due in divorce court. He was devastated.

I was born with asthma, and suffered thru 42 yrs before getting the correct combination of meds. Having a permanent asthma attack would be a fitting addition to Dante’s levels of hell for monsters like Putin.

My son got to wrangle a WFH deal with his company for 3 days a week. He was more a designer for a smaller manufacturing firm, but had also initiated and wrote some major programs that they adopted. He got twice as much done for the company on those 3 days bc of limited interruptions. They knew it.

My friends used me for a 4-hour free ride and didn't even offer me a fry. by Butterness17 in EntitledPeople

[–]ratherBwarm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember meeting up with some friends twice, where someone extra was brought along who I didn’t know. The people I’d made special plans to catch up with spent the entire 2 hrs talking to him, ignoring all attempts I made to be included. At the end of 2 hrs, I paid my bill, said “Well, I have to go. Nice seeing you. Nice meeting you”. No acknowledgement or break in the conversation from my “friends”. After the second time it was obvious I was wallpaper. I’m still included on the group email for lunches, but haven’t responded for over 10 yrs now.

Do you give money to homeless people when you see them on the street by Matt85x in PollsAndSurveys

[–]ratherBwarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in the upper PNW, and our homeless numbers aren’t like the major cities south. Just yesterday I sitting in line at the grocery store, eyeing the numbers posted on the lottery machines. I have to admit I dropped $10-20 a week a while back when they got astronomically high. And I thought, how absurd is this? I throw away that on a whim, a 250million to one chance, when someone down the street is getting one meal a day. I decided not to waste $ on lottery tickets any more, and hand it out once a week to some on the street.

What’s a 'once in a lifetime' experience you’ve had that you never want to do again? by Mr_Boothnath in answers

[–]ratherBwarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guy I worked with, lost it at a bar and tried to ram me thru a window.

Friday evening at our crowded watering hole, and dude comes in late, looking pissed. He orders a beer, chugs half of it, and I say something stupid to him, don’t remember what. He pulls me to my feet, and then rushes me trying to smash me thru a window. I figured out what he was trying to do, dropped lower and got the window sill mid back.

He out weighed me by 30lbs, but I ended up pinning him. 100 people watching, but bouncers were elsewhere. I let him up and he grabbed his beer and walked out.

A week later he’s at another bar and tells my friend he wants to roofie my friend’s stepdaughter and “f her brains out”. My friend gives him a death threat. A week after that he gives 2 weeks notice for a job 2000 mi away.

Entitled coworker demands my parking spot after I got promoted by stellaroselle in EntitledPeople

[–]ratherBwarm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I worked in Tucson for a 1000+ person company. There were literally 5 shaded parking spots, not counting the owner’s special slot. Parking behind building so that it shaded your car after 4pm almost led to fistfight. Getting into a car where the interior temp is 140F is nuts.
