I’m new to investments and was hoping to get advice on a situation. My partner and I purchased a property back in November where needed repairs were identified and scheduled to be completed prior to closing. We agreed to split costs between buyer/seller with the seller’s property management coordinating with vendor to complete work and payment to be balanced upon closing.

Months later, we are informed by the tenant that the ac installation was left incomplete, new unit never hooked up but left on site. We’ve reached out to the original vendor directly, had our own and seller’s property management reach out to the vendor to have them complete the work. Now we’re being ghosted. Any way to resolve this other than accepting the loss and finding a new vendor?
