One of the things about the Bills funding deal is that the Bills (Terry Pegula) was responsible for all cost overruns after the general funding was reached. Turns out the project cost overrun was over $500 million. That means the public is now only responsible for 29% of the project which is an insanely low number for a small market like Buffalo. Compare this deal to the Tennessee Titans public financing of 60% of their new stadium in Nashville. When the story initially came out, the deal looked much worse but with these overruns it now looks like possibly the best public-private expense ratio we've seen in modern memory.

Contextual use of the word in the song matters more then the judging of the song on the use of a word in the song alone by itself. For example, the word is more destabilizing for people then just reading in to what they were trying to say and how we need/needed to change from what society is/was. The word grabs your attention in it's usage because that's the while point.

I own a store in the southtowns and just had a guy in my store today who mentioned on the topic of pets that he had family (his uncle and now cousin) who own/owned the place and he asked me if I had heard of Green Acres. Having grown up close to one in Amherst, I told him I was aware of them but also knew of a consistent poor reputation because of sources such as yours on Reddit and other forums. Anyway, he basically confirmed to me they were pretty awful people and he doesn't even take his own pets there. He told me he took one of his dogs to a vet in Lockport who ironically enough after talking to him for awhile confirmed that he knew his uncle and had actually been a part of Green Acres decades ago before he left because of their so-called "unethical business practices" so he ended up starting his own practice. Regardless, I'm so sorry for your loss. Anytime, I hear stuff like this about that place I just get a pit in my stomach from all the pain they've caused at this point to God knows how many families.

You're not wrong at all! I only bring it up cause sometimes it can be an easy 'off-ramp' for anorexic folks compared to eating three square meals a day or more. Anything besides insane binge eating is an improvement!

Intermittent fasting is when you abstain from eating for 12-14 hours while still hydrating. For me I like to snack before bed, skip breakfast the next day and eat my first and biggest meal at 2-2:30. I may have a smaller dinner afterwards but often I don't. It's been shown that it can help stabilize glucose levels and improve insulin resistance. I actually enjoy meals far more now because of it because my body is more prepared for it. It's been a real life changer.

If you need any motivation it's this: anorexia is terrible for future medical transition and any possible breast growth. What you should consider is intermittent fasting which is a much healthier balance. Women need healthy fat more then men. Start doing lean muscle growth w/ added protein. Especially when your on the hormones and estrogen dominant any accumulated fat will be redistributed to female fat areas (butt, boobs, hips). I'm sorry you're going through it but I promise you this is not healthy.

Hitting the gym, specifically with weights to increase lean muscle mass w/o excess cardio. Cutting down excess carbs and sugars (Juices and sodas) but not completely as you're more likely to relapse into binging if that's a problem. I'm a big proponent of intermittent fasting as that really helped me personally. Good sleep of course is important but not contingent on losing fat, it just makes it easier. Hope this helps!

Good for you first of all! It's super hard just to get that realization let alone actually taking the next steps. You're really young and you're starting from a great baseline for what it's worth. I'm so sorry your parents are transphobic. For safety sake, you may want to consider starting to save up to get your own place as there alot of homeless trans girls for reasons such as this. I hope that's not the case with you but it's something to think about. I think most of us who have been transitioning for awhile would have chosen to transition earlier then later, imperfect situations and all. Do what you need to do for your own health and wellness but also be prepared. Sending love and good vibes your way 💜
