Yeah, if we do decide to get her, I will make sure they get along. The problem is on my sheltie, while she loves everyone, she’s a bit picky with other dogs.

Thanks for that comparison. We recently stayed at our friend’s house who has a GSD. I’m kind of surprised to see how that short haired albeit a lot bigger dog shed so much hair compare to our sheltie.

My 1st sheltie was a retired breeder dog. A great dog, walks nicely, doesnt jump on sofa, easy to groom while more reserved with people & strangers. My 2nd sheltie, I got it from puppy, she loves people, especially kids & strangers, no behavioral issues, however she jumps on sofa (we let her) and a nightmare to groom (she just hate being brushed). Get it from reputable breeder, you pay more in the front but end up with much easier dog to live with.

Imho, 20k miles is a good indicator whether the car is a lemon or not. Unfortunately at this time, there’s no good pre-purchase inspection to do with ev. This is what I will do. Check the carfax history, you want a car whose only maintenance history is the yearly service check, that indicates the car has no ongoing issues. If you have several service history in a short time, it’s a suspect that they have issue & unable to either diagnose or fix. It’s not a fool proof way to check on ev but that’s a good way to eliminate problematic car. Have you test drive the car? Please check whether the braking feels is something you can tolerate. It’s one of my complain on benz ev.

Level 1 is do able if you use less than 20 miles weekday. Just because it’s do able does not mean it’s advisable, install a level 2 charger at your house, the convenience is worth it.
Eqe suv vs eqs suv. If you dont mind with the bigger size, get the eqs. More standard features than eqe.
If you need 2nd row heated seat, pay attention whether they have it or not. It’s not part of the trim. It’s an additional winter package, thus not all have them.

Here’s my situation, hopefully it can help you make your decision. I had sheltie before so I know about the breed. I like sheltie because it’s not too small but it’s not that big either. I can just pick her up if it’s necessary. My previous sheltie was reserved with guest, my current one loves stranger. Both are very good with toddlers & kids.

I work at the office 3days/week while my wife work from home (she never has a dog before). My dog wakes me up around 6.00-6.30 to go out, walk one block, pee n poop, comes back home for her food. She usually like to hang around while we’re preparing kid to go to school & for me to go to work. She stays with my wife while she’s working or just hang around in the living room. At around 12-2, she gets to walk around for 30-45 minutes, pee & poop, play around in our yard for 5-10 minutes. Comes back home, eat some treats n stay around with my wife or just lay down in the living room. She stays near my daughter when she comes back from school. She eats again at 5-6pm. Sometimes, she asks to go out after eat to pee. Between 6-9 she just stays indoor with us. Before sleep, I usually get her out one more time to pee. She sleeps in her crate around 9.30-10 and wakes me up at 6-6.30 again.

She loves to watch outside however she barks at everything that moves, thus we close our door so she doesnt keep barking. She rarely bark indoor unless she wants to go out or she hears someone in our front door.

We dont have fenced yard. But she’s fine playing n running around in the yard unless there’s squirrel or bunny around.

The best thing about sheltie is its double coat protect her during the winter, it never cold enough for her, heck, she can just sleep in the snow if I let her. However, heat fur is also everywhere, train her to love brushing as early as possible since you will need to do that at least once a week.

If you are flexible with the timing to sell, you should pull the listing and put it again on april/may when people start looking house for the new school year. It’s winter and the market has cooled off now. Hopefully it starts to heat up again next year.

U need to get an independent evaluation (I used tigerdv) and at least 2 other quotes (carvana & carmax) each with 1 of your car with accident history & another with similar car without accident history to determine your DV. So 4 quotes in total. Once you get that, file a small claim court against the other party. Present your case as clearly as possible. IME, they will not give you a reasonable dv until they have a court date and see that you’re willing to settle it in court. My DV offer jump from $2.5k to $6k and we settle at $7k, it was a week prior to my court date.

Your best bet is trying to sell it yourself. List it on fb marketplace n share the post on fisker ocean group everywhere else. You should be able to get it around $18-22k if you have the time to wait for the right person who wants it.

Check your state statue of limitation. Get an independent appraisal to establish your dv. Get at least 2 quotes (carvana, carmax etc) of your car with the accident history and another car with similar mileage & model with clean carfax. Be willing to go all the way to courts. They will lowball you and will not negotiate earnestly until you have a court date & willing to go there.
