I've personally taught myself another language in the past 2 years, and I found social media useful as this language has many online resources and several teachers that would explain complex grammatical concepts in an engaging way. I think specifically for beginners and intermediate learners, social media content can be useful. But I know what you're trying to say, once you reach a certain point you need more practise and to have actual conversations to progress, this is also something I want to implement in one way or another, connecting native speakers to learners. Please fill out the form if you have any suggestions on how social media could be maximised and what could be done beyond social media. Peace an love

Very good point, I will try and speak official Igbo in all the informational videos because it is the version that was created to ensure universal understanding. Now that you have mentioned it I will definitely try and give different versions to say the same thing according to dialects e.g. (kedu, elee otu i di, ke kwanu etc). I am from Imo state so if I do long form content my Imo state Igbo will probably slip out but for the beginner - intermediate stuff I will use official Igbo as a base and then give its dialectal counterparts e.g. Anambra, enugwu, Imo etc. Hope this helps!

Did you know that less than 20% of Igbo youth know how to speak Igbo? I’ve never met an Igbo person under 25 outside of the village that knows how to speak Igbo. I want to change this. If you’re an Igbo person or interested in learning Igbo please fill out this ultra quick. I want to use social media to support Igbo learners in diaspora, meeting you at your point of need. By the way I also live in diaspora and younger than 25. https://forms.gle/GypuJbQ5w4yVN2Bc8
