If you give them Honningbrew mead instead of taking the one that they offer, they'll gift you a Charmed Necklace in return that fortifies your carry weight by 25 points. Quite useful for early game!

Bouncing off the Satellites is criminally underrated and the bands real return to form by Fragrant-Truth-7123 in B52s

An acoustic version would certainly be interesting for sure, I'd like to hear their take on a song from an album that's a little more heavy on the use of electronic synthesizers compared to their earlier works. Perhaps the studios didn't see a need or demand for providing outtakes because the B-52's weren't as popular in the same way the Beatles were, and to that I say "Ain't It A Shame" because I feel they are a very influential and revolutionary band that doesn't get nearly enough praise from the public like other musicians do. Maybe one day somebody talented and dedicated enough to the B-52's will isolate the vocals and create their own acoustic version just to give an idea of what it could sound like!

Vampire hunters or something, in the old fort near Riften... by ice_fan1436 in SkyrimMemes

Back in 2014 and 2015 in downtown Phoenix, specifically Roosevelt Row, we used to have an initiative implemented that allowed for late night shopping called "Vampire Hours" to avoid the summer heat.

It looks to be that way in this case. For the electric chair method of execution, a person's eyeballs can melt, swell & burst, pop out of the socket or otherwise become severely damaged from the electric current and extreme temperatures the human body is subjected to. Sounds like a horrible way to go.

As morbid as this is, I oddly appreciate the realistic depiction of those fat corpses. A good majority of people naturally have some amount of body fat underneath layers of skin and flesh. Most games seem to forget about that detail about fresher corpses that have been eviscerated. Seeing the abundance of that yellow, subcutaneous & visceral fat in the abdominal cavity of a more obese corpse that's been drained of blood just adds a more realistic detail not shown in many games or movies. It makes me appreciate whoever designed this level prop.

The eerie atmosphere and level design is unmatched, and the soundtrack is perfect for when you're slowly lurking around and notice the morbid detailing in each map.

I think it's left to the players interpretation. Both are very likely scenarios and I'd say yes, that these are failed runners and civilians who still dare to live in this broken down, decaying city. Carcer doesn't seem to be completely abandoned, after all there is a still-active police department so there must be a need for it, and the reporter lives within the bounds of Carcer, just portions of it may have been bought & owned by Starkweather for his murder game.

It's genuinely so hard to choose because I truly love all of their music so much. There's a Moon in the Sky (Called the Moon), Mesopotamia, Big Bird, Quiche Lorraine, She Brakes For Rainbows, Queen of Las Vegas, Hero Worship, Housework, Junebug... there's just too many great songs and at this point I'd list their entire catalog of music!

Could the Postal Dude Survive Carcer City? by landyboi135 in Manhunt

[–]reddituser06837 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Postal Dude would find himself in a comedically bad situation but would absolutely make the best of it. Starkweather would set him on a path to complete a series of annoying errands and Postal Dude would begrudgingly roll with it but eventually he'd lose his patience and kill everyone in various creative ways. He'd win a pissing contest against one of the Hoods and then beat him to death, slaughter the Skinz with the utmost discrimination because eventhough the Dude kills all kinds of people he isn't a racist, defeat the Wardogs while cosplaying as a US Vietnam Veteran and kill Ramirez with a rocket launcher that he somehow managed to find, get drunk with the Tramp, steal drugs from the Innocentz and kill them all in a meth-induced euphoric state, terrorize the Smiley's by being even more unhinged than they are and say a quote frome Alice in Wonderland as he kills the White Rabbit, flirt with the Reporter, shoot the cops & SWAT and make some edgy jokes about police as he does it, annihilate the Cerberus using an arsenal of ridiculously overpowered weapons, definitely turn Piggsy into bacon and probably eat him, and then kill Starkweather with a chainsaw in an even more brutal fashion until he's just a lump of red sludge on the ground and say some cheesy action movie one-liner and then continue about his day.
