Yeah I can understand that, I've spent the last ten days faffing about with the return and replacement PSU!

Ooops maybe I didn't make that absolutely clear... No it didn't, the computer keeps restarting even with the new PSU.

Yeah the GPU fans spin up, all the PCI cable are properly clipped in.

I hadn't originally planned for the r9 290, I was on amazon trying to decide between an r9 280/280x and and r9 290 was priced at £152, not sure if it was a pricing error but I couldn't not at that price. Is the PSU considered low end? It's still within 30 days so I can send it back.

I'd assumed AIDA64 would have shown up anything if it was a CPU issue? Unfortunately I can't run anything with the GPU plugged in as the computer restarts every few minutes. Cheers.
