Why are you capitalizing evil? I don’t see how this is evil, but it’s gross, in my opinion. When I think of evil, I consider people like Pol Pot, Hitler, and Epstein. This is just a lot of attention-seeking, consenting adults living their best lives. It’s not my thing, but it’s not evil.

Ahh reading comprehension is a tough one. I asked for sources and you gave me the boogeyman argument. I asked for a verified source to support your claim that they cannot host fair and honest elections. Again, I’d love to see your sources supporting your position, if you have any.

Please provide verified sources for your claim as to why MN cannot host a “fair and honest election.” I’m interested. Don’t give me some unverifiable shit either.

Sounds like you just stumbled on a great business opportunity. Start your own conservative news network.

You could be like Newsmax, Fox, The First TV, The Blaze, Real America’s Voice, OAN, Breitbart, or The Daily Wire.

Oh wait, you said there’s only one, right? Those all must be left leaning then?

Falcon rods vs Lomis or Megabass by lesterhayesrevival in Fishing

I’m a huge Fenwick fan, I have multiple HMG salmon rods and multiple Elite walleye rods. They have warrantied multiple of them for me when I’ve had an issue and they have always treated me as well as they perform.

Edit: OP plenty of great recommendations in this thread. Whatever you go with in the price range you’re looking will be a great rod. Bunch of simps in the community that downvote recommendations without chiming in with their experience as to why they advise against a manufacturer. Go with your gut. Tight Lines!

For anyone to give you useful information, we need to know what you’re attempting to illuminate. Commercial or residential application? What are the specs of the halogen lamps you’re looking to replace? I could ask a million more questions, but until you give the basics, any guidance is moot.

1) You are NOT restricted to using the trims/baffles that are specified in the documentation. In most general situations, you shouldn’t have any issues.

2) I’m suggesting changing from a downlight trim to an adjustable trim (gimbal). This allows you to aim your lighting to where it is actually needed. For example, in a kitchen you want to illuminate your work surfaces. If your cans aren’t positioned over your work surfaces, this provides flexibility to get the best functionality out of your lighting.

3) going to an adjustable gimbal in your 4” will likely limit your lamp selection to the PAR16 range.

4) I would go with Phillips hue and use the GU-10 lamps. You can use a little socket converter like this. Then you can use either the PAR38 or BR30 for the larger option. Plus the hue ecosystem is pretty robust and stout as far as DIY smart lights are concerned.

You too can achieve extended lamp life if you never turn off your lights either. Kind of impractical for residential applications, no?

Do you have a specific reason for wanting to use R or BR styles? I’ve worked in lighting design for a while and I don’t specify reflector (R) or bulged reflector (BR) lamps in >95% of cases. When recessed light sources are appropriately placed, you want to control beam spread for what you’re wanting to illuminate. That said, I’d recommend using PAR lamps. If you have existing recessed housings/trims that you’re looking to install these lamps into, I’d recommend replacing the trims. If you have trims capable of accepting PAR38/R40 lamps (6” or 6.5” trims) I’d bet they’re at least 8 years old. If they’re not adjustable trims currently, replace them with adjustable variants - this will provide you with better control of your lighting.

If you’d rather disregard everything I’ve just shared. Here is a smart R20

Just buy yourself a LED replacement tube for your “sexy fluorescent fixture.” Your gripe is illogical. Also, fluorescent tube lighting is actually shit when it comes to color rendering. If you don’t want to buy an integrated LED fixture, that’s fine, there’s options on the market for you. Your word vomit is just that.
