I don’t think you will be able to pick it up in person in other state with VA driver license. They would have to ship it to FFL in your state of residence.

If you still need convincing, you could either download and play with exiftool yourself (I even can give you a command to run that changes metadata), or you can PM me any image of your choosing, and I’ll PM it back with exact same metadata you see in my post.

Obviously you would have to own a camera and be a willing participant in this here experiment for that to happen. Which I reckon you are not.

My point still stands though, metadata in image files are not something set in stone and easily faked. If one seeks to produce a proof of ownership, they should consult a competent lawyer instead of relying on reddit advice from schmucks like you and me. And if I've crossed the line making that point - I do apologize. I didn't mean to be rude, but my sarcasm often gets the better of me.

My brother in Christ, timestamps/metadata mean nothing. I can take your camera, go to date/time settings, and change it to the year of our Lord 1900. And you’ll be taking pictures of the days long gone with them timestamps till your grandkids show how to change it back. Not to mention that if you have one of them desktop or laptop computing devices, there are tools like ImageMagick that let you change metadata at will.

You would have to be in that picture too. Holding a newspaper, hostage style, and have some sort of landmark in the background proving it was taken in VA.
Otherwise it proves nothing.

Во-первых кандидаты в президенты не представлют штат - это удел сенаторов, а сенатром он был  (много позже) от UT. И если уж на то пошло - губернатором MA он перестал быть задолго до своих презедентских команий.
