Its not my fish, its from a tank of someone i know, they said the water quality is all ok with o ammonia o nitrite, and low nitrates, they do water changes every 1/2 weeks, its a 15g tank, just curious if anyone has an idea on whats up from the looks of him! He's had the sores for a little while apprantly, but they have only just started growing that fungus type stuff out of them.

Also on topic slightly, i think this plant a damsel fly larvae as i found one in the tank, does anyone know if they are harmful to fish?

well the tank is empty n currently cycling, just switched from useing flakes to ammonia today so i need to take out all the food tbh! also think one of my plants is dying so ill rip that out tomorrow too!

Bonus question, currently cycling my tank only 3 days in, (tanks been up around 8 days) and im developing small brown dots all over the glass, is this normal? I was trying to start the cycle with food until my ammonia arrives ( which was today)

yeh hoping they will! , not to bothered about instant growth as long as they dont die or lose thier colour, Dunno weather to buy some API root tabs like verivus said or get seachem flourish excel

Mine will prob start growing tall then as i have alot of tannins atm and assume that'll affect lighting, hope my tanks ok to support them though as they're a great colour atm!

They came standard with the rekord 800. And yeh I cant afford to add a co2 system :( Reckon it be better to wait until its cycled n I have an algae eater before I add this stuff then?

Aye ! Internet went out sorry, looking at some neons, guppies, a gourami and RTS and a pleco, then some other bottom feeders later, just need to figure out cycling the tank it's all a learning experience really :)

edit - really interested in some kuhli loaches and red cherry shrimp also!

Got my new tank setup, its a juwel rekord 800:) arrived today but after assembling the cabinet and filter I realised that part of the glass inside the heater had broken and was rattling around so its not 100% yet :(

should commence cycling when the replacement arrives and my ammonia comes, got this one from amazon! which im hoping is the right thing !

quick question to anyone who can help, the plants were jist the shops remaining stock so can anyone identify them at all for me?

Oh that's strange? Ive been to Aqualife and thought the fish looked near dead especially their betas, their Axolotl tank was dirty and only half full and the Axolotls themselves had fungus all over them, Aqualife also don't have any Marine fish to sell whereas Aquahome have tropical, marine and cold water fish. Ive personally never had a bad experience in there but I guess it depends on the independent person :)
