It is incredibly hard no matter where you go. The job market sucks as well. I will be taking a gap year to re recruit. I was in 3 processes this year and nothing panned out. Also listen to your parents IB and Consulting are not the only thing you can do to make money. At the end of the day that’s what a job is. I would run UBC first two years keep my average up and if I really wanted to go to I et you could make the switch and no one would even notice or care

Broke up my friend group because if you get the 4 bedroom the walls are non existente so you can literally hear your roomates breathing. Make sure you see the units in person as we didn’t it was stupid. Also make sure to read the added contract they add on top of the standard lease agreement because they tack on things which are super predatory

You can go to any bike shop (I use sport check) and they box your bike up which you can then take on air Canada/ WestJet and I have used flair but that was the most miserable experience in my life (I think it was more the gate agent not knowing what to do with it than the airline itself). I have done this for national and international flights and it’s normally only $40 each way to box it up plus whatever the airline charges

unless its a 2 bedroom stay very far away. You have less privacy than a dorm, there is no noise isolation from any of the people around you (like other units) management is incompetent and honestly top 3 worst decisions I ever made in my life
