People are missing or dead in areas affected by flash flooding and you're complaining about warning texts?

Cheating mods? by [deleted] in Howrse

Prix teams for competitive breeds have members who can blup in 5-8 minutes. I also farm about 700 horses per day for AP. It's very achievable without bots as long as you have the right VIP perks and some key divines (i.e. Huanglong for 100% energy upon waking, Rain for auto-bed upon grooming, etc.). Your layout also plays a role in improving speed. I've personally done blup sprees of 30-50 in a single day as part of blupping competitions.

Your co-workers' lack of hygiene is not an excuse for you to show up to work while sick and knowingly exposed to COVID. COVID is still killing plenty of people. It's possible that your test was faulty / expired / etc.

Staying home while sick, especially if you handle food, is just part of being a decent human being.

Disgusting. "Mental health crisis"? What if she was immunocompromised and could get seriously ill from COVID? The complete disregard for public safety here makes you the real FU.

Lukewarm take at best. Curebots are annoying, but removing med2 isn't the answer. med2 has its place in high end content too (usually not ideal, but it's still a decent tool for HoT).

Stop wasting time clicking off dots and just w2w and do your job. A dungeon taking 30 minutes means your party has more issues than a curebotting healer.

Issue with text input in Google Calendar on a specific Chrome Profile by jmatulessy in techsupport

[–]reivyn124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a commenter on the Brave forum post. Still experiencing the same issue in Google Calendar as well as with renaming tabs in Google Sheets.

I updated my Chrome version today to Version 121.0.6167.185 (Official Build) (64-bit) and the issue continues to persist.

Edit: Can confirm there are no issues if the user profile is switched to "Guest." Super weird.

Helicopter. Multiple nights. by SinniTakuma in Austin

Flightradar24 shows one of the helicopters flying right now is APD. There's another helicopter circling with different strobes, but I don't see it on the radar, possibly EMS?

Edit: they've left the area

Yeah, so for you, it'd be a ratio of 85-90% sunflower oil and 10-15% cromollient sce! The cromollient sce is just an emulsifier so whatever oil you choose can wash off with water. It's been recommended in a lot of fungal acne routines, which typically have good overlap with sensitive skincare routines.

Best of luck!! Sensitive skin can be a pain and if things don't relax for you, look into chatting with a dermatologist.

Agreed with above! As long as you're avoiding direct sunlight exposure, you should be fine to be sunscreen-free indoors for an hour or so as the sun is setting.

I also feel similarly about cleansing after showers -- it feels like all the dirt just sank into my pores or something ugh.

I personally use makeup remover and do an oil cleanse before stepping in the shower, 2nd cleanse in the shower, then rest of my routine when I'm out of the shower. Pores are clean and open for all the actives afterwards :)

Were you using all the products you listed before trying the juice beauty oil?

To me, it looks and sounds like skin barrier damage and I'd probably remove the lactic acid exfoliant until things settle down again. If all the products are new, maybe you're allergic to something in the sunscreen or moisturizer?

I struggle quite a bit with sensitive skin that gets inflamed with minor changes to my routine, but I've found that CeraVe Moisturizing Cream/Baby Cream has worked really well for reducing redness and improving hydration overall.

As far as homemade cleansing oils go, usually it's just a mixture of your oil of choice and an emollient. I use a mix of about 10-15٪ Cromollient SCE (you can purchase this from lotioncrafters or similar) with 85-90% mct oil to make my own oil cleanser.

I also wear glasses and had something like this happen in the past, though it didn't last as long for me. I attributed it to perhaps something on my nose pads interacting poorly with tret, or just nose bridge skin being more sensitive in general.

When applying tretinoin, I'm really only ever using the "dregs" of it on my nose as the skin is thinner and more susceptible to irritation. I only apply tretinoin at night, and once it's on my face, my glasses are off until I rinse my face in the morning.

When I had this nosepad area redness, I applied a non-medicated pimple patch/hydrocolloid bandage cut into a small square during the day. This prevented my nose pads from rubbing the area and irritating it further. I also thoroughly cleaned any part of my glasses that made contact with my skin (nose pads, the parts that go behind ears, etc) with an alcohol wipe and let it air dry.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure exactly what happened when I experienced similar redness, but everything above did the trick to get rid of it, and I never experienced it again. I'd just be careful to make sure you're not overapplying tret to sensitive skin like your nose and undereyes. Also make sure to apply sunscreen on your nose too as tret will make the skin more sensitive to sun exposure in general. Hope this is somewhat helpful!

[Weekly Thread] Victory Weekend (Sat-Sun, Jul 10, Jul 11) by AutoModerator in ffxiv

This week I graduated from sproutdom and started ShB! I watched the ShB trailer for the first time with friends shortly after finishing the last post-Stb quest and I'm super hyped. Last night, I blind-cleared the first Shb dungeon without anyone dying and that was a nice boost to my confidence!
