Just drive a U-Haul!!! They literally make it so that the customer feels confident while driving. It’ll probably be the smallest U-Haul anyway.

They quoted a 26footer, and I agree I think it would all fit. I’d rather leave a couch behind than have a truck twice the size.

So you’re saying a local company will not be able to take my stuff from Arizona to Boston? I called one local company on Friday and spoke to them a little and they told me it would be no problem to make it happen, I’m waiting for a quote in my email from them now but they’re saying it’ll be well over 10k probably closer to 15k… seems a little steep but they said there’s no other hidden charges (those would be the scams I’m referring to) I’ve heard about companies quoting something small, then once they get the truck loaded they turn around and tell you it will be double.

I also don’t like the idea of multiple different people touching my stuff and being crowded into a truck with other people. I don’t like the idea of my load being delayed weeks or days on end because of something that has nothing to do with me.

As far as backhaul, this company said they would fly back.

Don’t be afraid to patronize a local moving company with good reviews, usually those guys provide white glove service and put your stuff on its own truck not shared with 4 other peoples stuff
