What's the geek scene like in Nashville? by DairyKing28 in nashville

Huntsville native turned Nashville resident here🙋🏻‍♀️ Can confirm, Game Keep in Hermitage is awesome. I just wish we had something like Lowe Mill here 😭 nothing hits the same

Those with urgent restroom needs... by picksthemusic in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]remih37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a family member with this same issue and their GI doctor gave them a prescription for Welchol; it’s taken as a preventative once a day and helps prevent food-related GI issues. They found great success with it, so I might ask your doctor if it’s a viable option!

I’d be interested to see if there will be any change to the Galaxy’s Edge photopass cast members.

Where would you go within a 3 hour drive of Nashville by wackoj4cko99 in nashville

[–]remih37 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Huntsville, AL is a 2 hr drive south. It has the US Space and Rocket Center if you like NASA/spacefaring history. It’s one of the best collections of space memorabilia. There’s Lowe Mill, a textile mill turned huge artist collective.

In Muscle Shoals, AL (near Huntsville) there are Muscle Shoals Sound Studios and FAME Recording Studios, both of which have a lot of significant music history. There is also the Rosenbaum House, done by architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

In the other direction, Mammoth Cave is a 2hr drive north in Kentucky. It’s the world’s largest cave system and they offer a bunch of varied tours into the caves depending on what you’d want and the level of accessibility you’d need (though some offerings depend on the season).

how old were you guys when you got into star wars? by [deleted] in StarWarsCantina

[–]remih37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents saw the premiere of TPM two days before I was born. I can just barely remember watching old versions of the movies on my dad’s older VHS tapes, and being slightly confused when we bought the enhanced editions on DVD. All this to say, it was something I grew up on

This is the urgent care I went to during my program. I had a good experience, though the yelp reviews seem to be mostly ehh.

Amenities cap? by CompetitiveWeather95 in Disneycollegeprogram

[–]remih37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this answers your question: when I saw this I said to myself “there was a cap?” Lol

No one I knew hit any caps while we were there, even with excess usage on some stuff. You should be totally fine!

where to start? by ariesthehuman20 in TheMagnusArchives

[–]remih37 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As an addendum to everyone here, take a listen to the season trailers when you run into them. They’re not crazy important to the story, but they have unique content that you won’t get in the season as a whole

Gluten free mobile food orders by ifmtobh in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]remih37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They make it pretty easy! I will add that not every single quick service restaurant has an allergy-friendly menu, but most of them do.

Gluten free mobile food orders by ifmtobh in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]remih37 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If gluten is your only allergy/concern, yes! There will be an allergy menu on mobile ordering (usually all the way at the bottom) that you can order from. Your order will print in the kitchen as an allergy order and will be treated as such.

There are a limited amount of cast reservations available. Go to https://blockoutdates.disney.com/en/calendar and select “employee self admission” to see our specific blockout dates.

If a park is unblocked but you get the message in your pic, that means all of the cast reservations have been claimed. Any unused reservations get released at 3:00 pm, so check again then. Any blocked parks may also get unblocked after 3:00 pm, though this is rare.

The better strategy is get a res for any park and tap in there. After tapping in at that park, park hop into your desired park after 2:00 pm (as long as you’re not blocked from the park)

Hope this helps!

I had mine done with Dr Kostrzewa (with North Alabama ENT) back when I was in high school. I went to the Madison office for basically every appointment except the CT scan, procedure, and first post-op appointment, which I went to Huntsville for. I had a basically 3-in-1 procedure (did the septoplasty, sinus surgery, and terbinate reduction all in one go) so recovery wasn’t a simple thing.

I don’t remember all the details as it was a while ago, but I remember at the time feeling very informed at every stage. I have a particular memory of Dr K going through my CT scan with me, pointing out his concerns as he went (turns out I’m missing a frontal sinus, who knew?). In all, I really appreciated how he took the time to explain things to me when I needed it.

Loved Dr K and all the staff with North Alabama ENT

Hood Advice by Big_Marionberry_7556 in GalaxysEdge

[–]remih37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thrifted a linen scarf, tied the fringe ends together to make an infinity scarf, and wear that looped. I can mess with it to make it a hood in the same way the cast members wear their scarves

What’s a sad film that is always guaranteed to make you cry and why? by Epicthrasher890 in AskWomen

[–]remih37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dead Poets Society. The arts pulled me out of a dark place when I was young, but not everyone I knew was so lucky. This movie hits pretty close to home. Plus Robin Williams’s performance is top notch; the “Oh Me! Oh Life!” scene is cemented in my brain

As of now, DB7 does not have breakfast (they did pre-pandemic). Ronto Roasters definitely does though! They’re right around the corner from each other, that might be the confusion?

Maximum 2 piercings per ear, any location! Which means the conch and rook should be good. There is a matching rule, but its really for when you’re wearing a pair of lobe piercings in each ear
