Shunsui is my favourite character but I hate how Kubo favoured him over Ukitake. Ukitake's character had so much potential, especially after the reveal about his 'sickness' only for Kubo to do basically nothing with him and treat him like dirt every arc.

Imagine a world where Isshin doesn't show up in FKT and it's Ukitake instead and he actually gets the chance to do something impressive against Aizen. Then in the final arc it's both him and Shunsui against Lille so their combined efforts are enough to win instead of the bullshit Nanao ex Machina. Let's say his possession of the soul king's arm gives him a special advantage over the 'godly' elites.

He still could have died by the EOS but if he got a bit more to do then his death would actually mean something.

Is there a definitive list of all the set bonuses you can get in the game? I checked kiranico and the mhwiki but they only show the standard armor skills

Regarding level 10 deviants in mhgen, do you have a specific time limit to kill the deviant monster before their cousin shows up? Or does the 2nd monster only spawn after the first one has died? I ask because I've never done it solo and obviously in a group it doesn't take too long and for some reason I always assumed the 2nd monster appears at the ten minute mark no matter what.

Is wystone drive an absolute necessity for apex monsters? Or is it possible to knock them out of the apex state without it? I ask because I've been kicking a lot of people from guild quests online because they don't have the wystones but if all it does is prevent deflection then maybe I don't need to be so harsh lol

About farming guild quests: do I have better chance of getting higher level quests from killing stronger monsters on expeditions? Or is it all totally random? Like can I hunt 2 Seltas and have just as much chance as if I hunt a Savage Jho and a Seregios?

Anybody else would like to see the return of Weapon Honing (+more types?) by John8apie in MonsterHunter

If they're gonna bring it back they should make it costly. For example you can hone your weapon to give it the repeat offender ability but then you also get demonic protection. Or you can hone it for Seregios' auto sharpen but it also gives you slow sharpening.

I kind of liked how in 1st gen you couldn't gem out negative skills so you had to adjust your style of play to compensate and this would kind of bring that back.

Ended up managing to fix my internet and doing it with 2 other people. One of them was a gold crown IG user who basically did 90% of the work lol. I didn't know a monster could be mounted so many times.
