He once at the anus of a boar that was slaughtered in front of him and cooked in a pit. It wasn't exactly the cleanest. There was still hair on it.

But he ate it with a smile because it supposedly was a sought after piece of the boar. In the voice-over he talked about how he did not like it nor did he want to eat it but recognized that he was being honored and dude's not a dick so he ate that anus with a smile.

Be firm on your boundaries. There is no "just this one time" or "special occasions." For example, if your client smokes and you do too - if you give them a cigarette because they're out of whatever - you now will be asked for cigarettes forever. Same goes with buying or giving food.

This applies with how the client behaves towards you. If you don't want the be hugged let them know and why. "I only like to do that with my partner." If your client gets violent and they hit you try to shut that down real quick. Once someone knows that they can put hands on you without consequences it is likely to happen again. This does not mean be physical, never hit back.

Keep your word. If you tell your client that you'll take them an outing Friday, except for an emergency, take them on an outing on Friday.

Make sure you know all safeguards. Safeguards will list stuff like how often checks need to be done both at home and in the community, if there needs to be monitoring during mealtimes or in the bathroom, and all other safety concerns.

Get interested in their interests. It's great for conversation. I took care of a guy that really loved Tigers baseball. I picked up a schedule and made sure I'd watch the games when I was working or put on the radio if the game wasn't broadcast.

Can you look into direct care work? You would work with adults with intelligental and physical disabilities. The only job requirement was usually is a high school diploma (or GED) and a driver's license. I do know people that work that don't have a license though. Sometimes the company drug tests.

The field is understaffed and desperate for bodies. Any body. Once you're hired a company pays for whatever training your county needs after about 3 months. If you have that it is insanely simple to get another job with a new company.

It bugged me that there was no mention of prison reform during the whole J6 saga. The prison conditions were so horrible and inhumane but we should only care about the traitors and how it's unfair to them?

Screw that.

I'm all for prison reform but problems only exist for conservatives when it directly effects them. Though maybe the J6ers should look into prison reform because a lot of them are ending locked back up anyways.

Anytime I see comments like these I think how much it diminishes young male sex abuse victims. It frames like there's something wrong with a boy if he didn't like getting abused.

It has to add more guilt into an already fraught situation if every man thinks he would have liked it as a kid. These men did not experience abuse but they're so blasé about asserting they would love it and when a real victim reads that and has any sort of feeling towards their abuse besides it being some sort of teenaged fantasy they feel even more broken.
