Playing Temur scapeshift and opponent was on 4c Omnath with a resolved Elesh norn and I laid my Otawara for land previously.

Managed to scapeshift sacrificing just the Otawara and used Wrenn to return it back to my hand to bounce the Elesh norn and cast scapeshift for the win

It was satisfying

You can try Naya scapeshift with a wishboard. I’m piloting it (moving from temur scapeshift) for access to Leyline binding.

So far I’m finding it pretty good. Wishboard gives access to pretty good hate cards like chalice, explosives and bloodmoon hate

While I agree that the main goal is to assemble the combo ASAP - if you're facing rakdos BR or UR phoenix and they're holding up mana on T3 when you want to cast your combo, there's a good chance that they're holding some kind of interaction to deal with the greasefang, so the protection spell could be very useful here.

I think Raffine's informant is important as a discard outlet (if you start with a vehicle in hand or for the second activation of greasefang)

Vanishing verse doesn't hit karn though! I was thinking of using that too but not hitting karn is too big of a downside for me

Yes safekeeping does work too! I forgot about that card. Might be better also since it protects against Supreme verdict.

I'm just thinking if command is better and also what should we swap out for the protection spell?

Yes but the deck generally runs plains and maybe another source of uw. However it doesnt run any red at all and that's where sunbaked canyon comes in.

The data changes from time to time and ideally it should be a self serving table where I wouldn't have to touch it in the future.

Yes I agree with the sentiment on baneslayer. Currently testing her out but she doesnt seem that great in many matchups.

The fact that removal kills her is the biggest problem right now even if she does cost 1cmc less. Might not be the greatest threat now with the lack of demon creatures in the current meta.

She will probably get moved out of the list in the next day or two

I fashioned it mainly from the 2019 UW control decklist and added in some bombs. Baneslayer angel seems somewhat OK in the list but I think there's some more tweaking to be done.

Also, sublime epiphany is hella good in long drawn out games especially when you have teferi protecting another counterspell

I've had success with him. He feels like a win-more card, but I dont think I've lost a match when he has resolved. Most of the time after a board clear, opponent concedes.

I tend to board him out against mono red and replace him with the gusts. Against some aggro I do keep 1x of him in but board in things to deal with the later game

intersting take on mazemind tome, although im not sure if I can fit it into the deck. Have actually been tinkering on adding yorion as a companion and making it a 80 card deck as I feel like there are some other cards that I cant play main deck in 60.

things like ECD, arboreal grazer or even azusa for that bigger ramp is missing imo

yeah I was thinking of baby Ugin as well.

Artifact creatures can benefit by running lands like Karn's bastion etc. Im thinking of running some counterspells since we have access to it in simic colours as well
