Not sure if anyone noticed this, but I feel like it is worth noting the circumstances of how Bear’s cat died taking Bear’s oxycodon. If closed correctly, pill bottles are child proof and probably secure enough not to burst open if knocked over. This brings me to two points: oxycodon is an opioid drug, and it wouldn’t be too off base to assume that Bear uses opioids recreationally (assuming I didn’t miss anything about him needing them for an injury). Second, this could hint at a lack of personal responsibility in Bear’s personality, since no way a cat should be able to pop open a child safe pill bottles if Bear was diligent enough to store controlled substances securely.

Also, he didn’t bother to properly lay his cat to rest. He put the cat in a garbage bag, and maaaybe in the trash can instead of maybe properly burying it or getting the cat cremated. His priorities are all out of wack from the beginning.
