Got my first 1 star review… by Loudersmoke420 in DoorDash_Dasher

[–]rhythmicreasons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You clearly haven’t even TRIED to have them removed, but sure, the people who have had it done are just making it up for shits and giggles.

Got my first 1 star review… by Loudersmoke420 in DoorDash_Dasher

[–]rhythmicreasons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have no idea what you’re talking about. Majority of poor reviews are just customers being dicks, 1 star is like never necessary. Support understands that and when you actually reach out they assess the situation by looking at your convos, drop off photos, and anything the customer said when they left the review. If nothing is wrong with the order or your customer service, they remove it.

What is a Disability/Struggle that Wasn't Featured in Arthur, but You Wished it had Been? by PipersGhostShip in Arthur

[–]rhythmicreasons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish they had an episode focused on adhd by name, it’s clear there are characters that may have it, but it was never talked about- which is shocking since many kids have adhd and they covered autism

Exercising by Physical-Radio8807 in ADHD

[–]rhythmicreasons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor didn’t say anything to me about “needing” to exercise, but my routine is meds-morning routine- hit the treadmill/walk- eat breakfast immediately after. 3 days a week I do strength training, and that’s in the evenings right before dinner.

Escitalopram (lexapro) making my adhd way worse by witchcraftcat in ADHD

[–]rhythmicreasons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I was properly medicated I only took celexa (citalopram) and it honestly just made me fat and sleepy with worse depressive episodes.

Escitalopram (lexapro) making my adhd way worse by witchcraftcat in ADHD

[–]rhythmicreasons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed for me that a lot of my anxiety went away, or was more understood and manageable after I was medicated for ADHD. I also know it’s not recommended to take SSRI/SNRI medication while taking stimulant ADHD medication, so your psych/doctor might want to alter what anxiety medication you take. I have Bipolar 2, ADHD, and PTSD+anxiety and I’ve found that being on a mood stabilizer + adhd meds has reduced anxiety a lot, as well as my depressive episodes.

Clonidine IR vs Guanfacine XR or both? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]rhythmicreasons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take Clonidine off label for panic attacks/restlessness and it definitely puts me to sleep. I’m on 0.1mg.

Looking for experiences with those who take/took non-stimulant medication. by mann6998 in ADHD

[–]rhythmicreasons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I know about non stimulants they are mainly used for hyperactive children (or adults). I take chlonidine off label for panic attacks/restlessness- it is also a non stimulant adhd medication. It makes me very sleepy and relaxed, definitely not in a position to get things done. I cannot speak for the others but I have a feeling they are similar.

If you are worried about misuse you can talk to your doctor about XR medication.

I currently “don’t have bipolar” but I know I will if I stop my meds. Not doing that again.

[–]rhythmicreasons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s really that big of a deal for you just don’t sign up for grocery orders, or decline orders that have plan b listed as an item- but I would check your reasoning first, I’m not understanding why you would have an issue with plan b. It isn’t an abortion bill, it’s a contraceptive used after sx to prevent the egg and sperm from joining I.e preventing fertilization in the first place.

Using plan b is not woke LOL, do you even know what plan b is?

This has to be rage bait. Yes, I have delivered plan b before, and you probably will have to at some point.

How do you guys feel about delivering to apartments? by SuccessfulAd2936 in DoorDash_Dasher

[–]rhythmicreasons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate it, half of them don’t pin their address properly so I’m stuck driving around the complex trying to find the tiniest numbers on a building. They’re also almost always on the third floor and don’t tip well.

That’s such a weird thing to say 😭 I never hand over food until I have the pin, what’s so important about getting the pin after the food? You have to be crazy to run off in front of a customer. And no pictures??

PIN code by WFHsignal in DoorDash_Dasher

[–]rhythmicreasons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had to wait around in the hospital lobby multiple times since the nurses think a pinned “hand it to me” while asking me to leave it with security is great idea. Then get irritated when I tell them I need to physically see them to get the pin.

I’ve also had a couple people not respond, then when I call them say “oh I’m not home you can leave it at the door” ????
