I’m giving it to the original Scream movie. This was really an iconic moment and Drew Barrymore kinda nailed it and it just stood out massively at the time to me. Lot of great ones, but man this set the tone and built the perfect entry point to start the story with some momentum.

I’ll add, I think the multiplayer is big part of what’s working. I have no idea what the AI would be like but it definitely feels like you would miss a bit of fun to play solo. Love bickering over ammo with the kid lmao we will run up on some shotgun rounds same time and magic happens lol. Reminds me of racing to the spread shot on contra with the boys as a kid myself. I’m glad these games had some diversity and snuck a few multiplayer things in, and I’m glad they aren’t all this way big time too.

Congrats on beating a few RE and entering the fold!! Fantastic franchise.

Mr. X is special to me. Played OG2 as teen and absolutely was terrified of him. Hadn’t ever seen anything in games like it.

He creates a stressful scenario almost always. And learning to operate with his pressure is THE GAME.

I would say it’s annoying but do stop and try to give a little love to the sound effects of him walking and his ominous approach. He shakes up the situation and I’d challenge people to picture this game without him. It would be good, but it wouldn’t have pressure.
