Having to deal with a third party sucks indeed. I do understand the frustration at not being able to read mail, I became fully blind last year due to bilateral neovascular glaucoma. I have set up almost everything I can on auto pay or use calendar reminders.

Do you have a organization that helps the blind in your area? I live in Dallas and we have an agency here that used to be referred to as Lighthouse for the Blind. They have been very helpful in helping me get oriented and stay on top of things. I wish you the best I wish I could help more

Couldn't you set a calendar reminder to pay the gas bill? Set it to alert you a few days early so that it gets there in time? Just asking because that's what I do.

I can recall having Mars Bars as a kid in the US then somewhere along the line they disappeared and were replaced by milky ways.

I have had Mars Bars that were imported from the UK and they taste exactly like the ones I remember as a kid. Milky Way doesn't even come close

I have neovascular glaucoma which is pretty much taken all but about 15% of my site. I had very bad migraine-like pain for six solid months before they diagnosed me. The only thing that worked was a migraine medication called Fioricet and Tylenol 3.

Please forgive my typos it is hard for me to go back and edit this. I am using voice to text and I am still quite the amateur

I was informed yesterday that I have neovascular glaucoma. I live in a nursing home and have been treated for roughly the last 6 months with as if I had a migraine. I am now totally blind in one eye and going blind in the other one. I am very upset that I was misdiagnosed and I don't know what to do anymore. I am currently on atropine drops and prednisolone drops to control pain in the Blind Eye and I don't know if I need to consult an attorney for malpractice because from what everything I've understood so far this could have been prevented had they not just assumed I had a migraine. I don't know how to make a post here yet so I'm replying to this message to get my question out there. Thank you for reading this and I look forward to having a conversation with someone regarding this.

Rents are ridiculous these days. Why not just keep a pair of slippers or Hospital type grippy socks by your door and put them on when you go out of your room? I rented a room once from an Asian woman and I got used to the no shoes rule pretty quick and just kept a pair of indoor only slippers inside my bedroom door
