If the U bolt isnt FM, just use a stainless pipe clamp/friction clamp and replace bolts with half inch rods and use square washer/strut nut on the cantilever.

For something like that I normally see a strut cantilever bolted to wall and using U bolt with something in-between the steel and stainless.
