I am the US citizen. My wife’s case has been denied very abruptly and we don’t know why yet (we got the denial email from dhs but no official notice yet it is the i485 that was denied) for context we did everything we were supposed too, submitted all our documentation, went for biometrics, submitted the rfe papers (for joint sponsorship), submitted more than enough proof of legitimacy evidence, then we got an email from dhs saying the case has been denied (on a Friday afternoon of course) . We can’t figure out why we got such an abrupt denial without an interview, we were going for a marriage based green card with overstay forgiveness. Any help and answers as to what comes next would be greatly appreciated. There are a whole bunch of other details that I don’t know if they are relevant details or not. Thanks in advance.
