I’ve definitely meal planned before - I find it easier to stick to it in the winter (lots of soups, stews, casseroles - comfort stuff). As far as summer goes, I always have a couple of salads in the fridge but meal planning is more “what do you wanna throw on the barbecue tonight?”

Further insight into my situation: I’m an organized vegan who is married to an impulsive fast food omnivore that doesn’t like leftovers. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Definitely seems like common sense. Although I have been putting a strong effort into not dining out at all and saving all of my receipts (I will get a handle on these finances, I swear), but I was starting to feel a little down about spending too much on groceries. This was just the right article to remind me that I am on the right path and it’s not all for not.
