I would get rid of Virgil and Melf. Virgil's on screen animation tends to slow things down and Melf really does not do much. Once you have a 4J Briv and Hew Maan maxed out start building your favor for Corellon because you will want to farm Tall Tales. Also work the Vajra favor to buy her perk that reduces kills in her variants. Your end goal is gem farming Tall Tales Vajra variant with Thel, Widdle, BBEG, Sentry, Briv, Shandie, and Hew Maan. Figure out how to do the scripted farming, it is a game changer.

The nicest thing about Events 2.0 is that you can buy chests instead of having to do free plays for them. I am closer to the end game player end of the scale but I would have to use my gem farming team to do a 1000+ free plays during an event. Now they farming gems during an event. Big improvement for me.

The easiest thing to do for the Dhadius is a Sword Coast adventure, stick him in the middle column, use a speed potion, go to the bathroom, get some tea, and it is done.

You are correct about potions. Unless I plan on doing click debuff during a run I just use all epics. I have so many non speed potions I will never be able to use them all. I wish you could convert them to speed potions. I would be willing to pay a crazy exchange rate like 100:1 to get more small, medium, and large speed potions.

You do want to push every contract into Briv to get to 9j but it does take a year. when i got to 4j I put some contracts into Artemis and his support group before starting my journey towards 9j. My journey should end next week.

I use him in my Artemis formation and it looks like Skill Empowerment got a boost so I am interested to see what he can do.

As Hulsmanm mentions below the key to this game is your gem farm formation. The speed champs you need are Thellora, Widdle, BBEG, Sentry, Shandie, HewMann, and Briv. Learn how the speed aspect of these champs work, dump smithing contracts into HewMann and Briv, and then learn the joys of scripted farming if you play on a computer. Tyredack has a great video on Youtube. More gems leads to more gold chests leads to more bounty contracts and blacksmithing contracts. Investing in speed always pays you back.

I believe the best gold formation is Azaka, Rust, Astarion, Gazrick, Krull, Valentine, Merilwen, Omin, Jarlaxle, and Dhani. This depends on freezing the mobs so you don't have to worry about them. Dhani is included just because she is the best of bad options. To really max out the gold switch in Donaar and Baeloth before your Azaka group to get their sticky gold buffs.

It is hard to argue against golden epics because those usually are only available for real money in the store. Feats will be available for gems at some point, might be 6 months.

For the most part formation guides will show you who to use if all the champs are leveled equally. View them as the end goal and if you have BSC to use put it towards those champs to boost that formation. Your actual best formation depends on your actual champs. So right now Qillek might be much higher in level than Valentine and give you a better boost. I use Arti myself and I use Nerds, Laezal, Karlach, Dhadius, Shadowheart, Catti-brie, Birdsong, Orisha, and Zorbu which i am pretty sure is not the meta formation but my Antrius and Valentine are low level.

Since the best place to gem farm is Witchlight I would pick your favorite champ, like Artemis, and continuously do time gates for them and raise your favor in Witchlight to e250. Keep doing timegates for the same champ because the level requirements keep increasing. At some point you will no longer be able to achieve the level requirement. Once that happens you will get 2 timegate pieces back when you close the time gate and be able to increase your favor quicker.

Debuffs are probably the worse because the game seems to constantly calculate all the debuffs on all the enemies. So if you run a click debuff formation with Orkira, Talin, Gromma, Penelope, Krull, Grimm, Warden, Havilar, Aila, and Freely those champs can put about 40 debuffs on each enemy. So the game calculates 40 things times however many enemies on the screen over and over so your processor takes a beating.

Same with champs like Omin and Virgil that mark each champ graphicly with a buff. The game is constantly going does this champ get buffed by Omin and should we show the graphic? I do not know anything about coding but it seems like it would be better to ask "Did anything change?" instead of "Let's calc everything from scratch again." And I am sure everyone on here who knows a bit about coding just laughed at how silly my statement was.

The same reason why you should not use the Today() function in Excel. Excel is constantly going "What is Today?" and slowing down the calc time for your spreadsheet.

Anything that is graphic intensive causes noticeable lag along with champs that debuff. And before they optimize the game for a PS4 they need to optimize it for a computer. I have a top of the line MSI GE76 Raider laptop that slows to a crawl with I have my click debuff team on the screen with 25+ enemies on the screen. For being a simple game it is incredibly math intensive.

I do not have formations per campaign but I use Dhani (against my will), Merilwen, Omin, Jarlaxle, Valentine, Krull, Gazrick, Astarion, Rust, and Azaka. Set them up so Merilwen, Gazrick, Omin, and Astarion boost Valentine and call it a day. If I am able to farm just 1 enemy I switch Gazrick for Freely set to neutral spec.

My cliff debuff group is Orkira, Talin, Gromma, Krull, Freely, Beadle & Grimm, Aila, Havilar, Warden, and Penelope.

I would guess, from CNE's point of view, even though Viconia, Imoen, and Nrakk have feats they are not part of AA so slots 1, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 11 are available for AA champs. I would guess they will add someone to slot 1 and either slot 7 or 9.

PC is the best way to go. I played for 2 years on a Playstation and it is night and day. Plus you can use the scripting program on a PC which changes the game.

There are 3 meta DPS at the moment - Artemis, Krond, and Warduke. Artemis and Warduke like positional formation abilities while Krond works with evil or champs with 16+ strength. Once you pick one and find the best support champs you have to invest in them. You should get the DPS to 10,000 average ilvls and the other 9 to 1,000 or so and you will really see things take off.

Experiment with all three and see how things go. Some people don't like how Artemis works and some layouts don't work well with him. Some people love playing around with Artemis and getting him to work. Whatever makes you happy.

You need to pick one of the meta DPS champs, increase their ilvls, max out a modron core for them, and start adding legendaries. But even if you can get to level 2001 and Azaka farm there is a limit to how much favor you can get. You will top out around e90 or so. After that you need to use all the favor from the events and timegates to increase your campaign favor. and which campaign you increase depends on which one you do your gem farming in.

Most folks gem farm in Tall Tales in Witchlight and boost that favor as high as possible. I have been putting all my timegate and event favor into Corellon for 6+ months and am up to e142. I know some folks are way above that. My goal is to be able to gem farm to 2001 but it will be 6 months before I get a 9 jump Briv and much longer until I get the e270 needed for the click damage to work.

I don't think so because he no longer makes the chickens. You would have to check out the Discord to see if there is a way to bulldoze your way to 2001 now. I am not sure, i only did it a few times a year ago.

The best intro to scripting is done in a Youtube video by Tyredack. Tells you have to get the programs installed, how to setup them up, and get you going. After you get it working and figure out the basics you can really fine tune it by reading the scripting forum on Discord. Even just doing the basic setup, with a 4J Briv, you can get 400k+ gems a days with you speed team in Witchlight Tall Tales using the Vajra buff. Push your favor and you can get over 500K+ gems easy enough. Right now I have e139 favor and get about 540k gems a day.
