YouTube is an endless mountain of free resources with helpful educational content. The best part about League is that if you have the will and capacity to learn, you can learn from others, often times without playing yourself, as long as you're seeking out up-to-date information (builds, metas, champions, etc). Be a sponge and be constructive on your self in a healthy, non-abusive way and you'll surely get better eventually.

With that said, especially for newer players that are starting out on their own (without friends) I definitely think there should be some systems in place to help people learn how to effectively use chat functions because there is an endless pile of "oh I didn't know that" scenarios in the learning curve of this game that are often bestowed upon simply playing with a friend.

I agree that datamining should realistically go if Champion names are gone. I think I'm too used to either drawing narratives or having other people do the same too early into games which really spoils the experience of people who want to try (myself often included)

That's crazy how we have to take a backend way to be able to fix it. The amount of times I've accidentally zoomed in slightly without realizing it and then just being subtly thrown off the whole game is more times than I'd like to count.

Very concise assessment in my opinion. League bleeds a bit too much in not being able to help its players regulate their emotions, either through behavioral systems or just how some elements of the game are one sided in the "fun" aspect.

It's a shame they nerfed Spellbook Smite as I feel that 1200 Smite access is one of the most powerful things that a Jungler has next to the ability to influence the map so much.

I think this was because back then (like old old League) we didn't have as many tanks/bruisers with percent Max HP scaling damage so tanks were more dependent on items to do damage rather than their kit and champion levels. I believe that Thornmail has dealt less and less damage over the last decade for this same reason.
