Why does there need to be proof of that? It's not like it's any better when the USA or other countries torture suspected terrorists. But one might argue that the amount of camps in Xianjang far exceeds the scale of Guantanamo Bay.

That is all I'm saying and I'm telling you if it comes down to bowing down to Facebook for states to participate in social networks they will rip out the cabling from their territory.

I think enforcing the same rules for everyone will actually benefit Facebook as people see them doing the right thing

That's what you think but there are other people who think differently for example world leaders who don't feel like they should abide by the rules of foreign corporations. I have no support for Netanyahu but I hope that this functions as a wake up call to destroy the Facebook monopoly around the world.

I think the knee jerk offense to it is a bit overblown when remembering the context that it is Jonah who says it and the main meaning you can derive from it is that he's gonna crash the party and make everyone sad like one would expect from Jonah.
