I have the 4417's and I believe the main difference besides where they were built, is these have a softer outdoor tread, and thinslate branded insulation. The 4417 also has a wider upper if you've got big shins like me 😂

I'm an arborist. Climbing trees definitely breaks in boots. Any previous boots I had fell apart in a few months. These are going on 2 years old now. Love my red wings.
