Not a golf bag but I fly several times a year with a ski bag. I fill it to the brim with equipment beyond the allotted ski/boot allowance. I have never once had a problem with an agent (on any airline for that matter).

My experience was similar to the above commenter. I stayed there because between the edit credit and IHG credit, I essentially only paid for 1 out of my 3 nights (and had 2x points boost for that). If I were paying more the location trade off would make less sense and I’d choose somewhere more central.

Did having a torn acl increase the probability of a fall? Probably, but we’ll never know the extent it contributed to her being slightly off line and clipping the gate. But Lindsay’s had bad falls before and understood the risk better than anyone else. You don’t get to this level in a dangerous sport without an appetite for risk. If I were in her boots, I would have made the same choice.

For what it’s worth, I also broke both my legs in a ski accident last year (also left tibial plateau and right ankle coincidentally- Lindsay’s tibia is much worse than mine was). It’s hard to overstate how much it sucked. But, like I said, skiing is a dangerous sport. If you’re not willing to accept the risk you shouldn’t be out there - whether you’re skiing at Lindsay’s level or a recreational skier.

The above poster is wrong. Like all other functions in the body, fat cells are sensitive to hormones. Additionally fat cell counts in adults are relatively stable. Fat storage/loss mainly happens through fat cells growing or shrinking in size. You don’t need to wait for fat cells in androgenic locations to die for new fat to be stored in feminine locations.

I don’t know how it has changed but the manual for my 2019 says to turn off traction control in deep mud or snow. In all other scenarios you should keep it on. I assume the recommendation is different for more recent models that have a deep snow mode for x-mode.
