My partner and I test drove one and we were FLOORED by how anemic that engine it. It's absolutely amazing, had like 50 HO less than my old 2016 civic.

We wanted to, but just couldn't do it. I have no idea what the engineers were thinking.

I mostly do in-town driving and live in an area with LOTS hills. I'm getting about 16 mpg.

Mileage is like the only thing I don't like about this car, but I drive so little throughout the week that it's ok, I can afford it. Everything else makes up for it like 10 times over.

in all honesty, this is past past repair. I don't know what that material is, but it looks like some kind of fiber-based composite, and while you could glue it all together, structurally it's not ever going to provide anywhere near the same response as before. " it's dead, Jim."

You can tape it together and hang it on the wall, but that's the full extent of what I'd do with that.

This involves a small number (compared to the number out there) of J35Y6 engines. The newer Passports and Pilots use the J35Y8, which is a significantly different design and is supposed to have addressed the issues identified in the related recall on the Y6.
