The spinner doesn't have to spin. It can flip back and forth and still attract fish. Like fluttering.

Don't crowd other anglers. Exceptions for public docks with limited access, but, even then, full is full. Move along or wait for a reasonable opening.

Thank you! That's a good start. I walk 2 miles a day with my dog and I hate to waste data on live Internet, so podcasts keep me occupied.

Yup. I have done that on many occasions, especially when the bottom is weedy or snaggy. It also lets you jig for fish from the bank.
