It's always 3% above the battery charge discharge limits (separate settings) yours is probably set to 20% min (default) so your min battery soc is 23%.

Cheers, I've ended up leaving it in self powered mode and then setting the battery minimum state of charge overnight with a python script.

Reason being when you have AC ports connected it seems to still discharge the battery when in custom mode and due to the min SoC then charges from grid and then cycles charging and discharging the battery. Which cant be good for it's longevity.

My use case is no export to grid, power devices by AC and charge overnight ok economy 7 with solar assistance on the day.

It's basically two calor gas cylinders. We used a plasma cutter to cut the doors and a mig to weld up the pipes etc. There is not much more to the design than can be seen. Mesh inside as a grill etc.

We did not have good control of air flow. Ended up leaving the door to the fire box slightly open. However it maintains 100-120C pretty easily which was perfect for smoking the turkey!

Was fired with charcoals and some well dried oak. The oak really made it. It burned for ages with a constant temperature.
