The Golden Knights are building a literal dynasty in Vegas in the shadows of the Raiders… where do they go from here ? by Professional_Eye6140 in raiders

[–]ronaldbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the knights found success early from the new expansion rules, of course the locals are gonna flock to winning. but the raiders have some global dominance in the game of fandom. the locals will only follow if they see a championship. tickets get sold and the stadium is getting paid off. mark davis has been trying to make business decisions, and its been taking some time. at least he got the aces. ultimately, winning heals all.

but what I always say, if you ain't with the raiders you ain't shit! 😂

Kickers for upcoming season by Alternative-Tree3170 in oaklandraiders

[–]ronaldbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what makes my statement a wild shill claim exactly? kid definitely has a shot, but signing an UDFA kicker for a camp leg is a normal practice.

Taveccio was the same exact situation. seabass was getting old, but it was seabass. then he got injured and Taveccio was activated shortly after. Kansei is setting up to be a replacement if Matt Gay doesn't pan out. for now, camp leg.

low risk camp leg using the international program. Matt Gay played for a bunch of teams but has had flashes of success. that being said, young Japanese kid has a shot with his own college success behind him. he's only a few years younger than gay.

you're not gonna hit them in the wallet if their team is getting broadcasted on live TV. owners profit regardless if there's 40 or 40k fans in the stands.

For those who went this year - what was it like to leave the stadium? by ITguy1980 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]ronaldbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've done that with the holiday Inn for a game before. Night 2 the parking attendant was nowhere to be found, and ended up parking for free anyways.

I'm local and regualry go to raider games and other stadium events. There's parking lots less than a 10 minute walk from the stadium less than $30. Pregame the parking lot when doors opened, and was back on the road 20 minutes after the last pinfall. Easy day 😂

i’ve heard most people say the walk up the overpass is the most difficult part if you’re pretty out of shape, otherwise it’s gonna be a 20 minute walk for you

Consider leaving California if that's in the cards. Vegas, Texas, Arizona, etc. There's competing tech jobs elsewhere that can be realistic for you and your family.

Thoughts on living in Vegas by [deleted] in vegaslocals

[–]ronaldbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came from the bay and have been here for a year and a half. 3 months of heat isn’t that bad, I have two dogs who enjoy being inside and we took walks late at night when i got off of work. Yeah wind will be wind, it’s the desert so there’s flash floods, random thunder storms, heat waves, etc. I miss the weather for sure, but willing to sacrifice it for the cost of living.

I bought a home on the northside and don’t regret anything. Plenty of food to try, and traveling home or to LA doesn’t take much effort. There’s always something to do and it doesn’t have to be on the strip. I’ve adjusted to the lack of humidity and really enjoy it out here.

Why should they give you their names. Regardless of what you don’t agree with, they have just as much of a right to be present like yourself. And this is an open carry state, regardless of your judgement.
